I've liked to use AGGT starburst mortar with pierce since the shrapnel allow you to hit enemies beyond your orbit. Now I'd use burn instead since only one piece of shrapnel needs to hit an enemy to inflict half of its prior dps as burn.

You can also use the slug perk and the +projectile mods together to make GGGG more effective. However, I found that AATT can help with biomass due to how Homing+Saturn works. Still, this guide is a very effective way to use Saturn due to how spread is Irrelevant on it.
