The below video was recorded by instructing the Shade to walk directly to a bookmark I had previously made at the tower. Please note that this recording takes place on a playthrough where the tower has already been depleted of its treasures. When you first visit, the location will look quite different!

Disclaimer: In realtime, the journey from Shade's home to the tower actually took just over 36 minutes. When you first journey there, you will also have to allow some extra time for fumbling around in the darkness. Two ways in which you can potentially make your own journey easier:

-If you have already explored every other location in the game, you can find the tower by lighting a smelly fire. The purpose of said fire is to walk Shade to a location not yet visited.

-If you prefer to walk there manually (as I have, many a time...) you can make some of the journey in the dark easier by carrying a glowing mushroom with you. Please note that the mushroom's light will not work in the completely pitch black area towards the end, but it will at least help you with the first turn in the dark.
