Descripción
first-person legs, based on a clientside entity unlike other solutions which use a clientside model



Features that are cool
  • very optimized and vastly faster than competing solutions (super rough estimate ~0.05ms from lua cost per frame)
  • matches players real model as much as possible (renderFX, decals, pose parameters)
  • rough support for weapons being enabled in vehicles



Convars

Purpose
cl_legs
0/1 - Enables/disables legs rendering.
cl_vehlegs
0/1 - Enables/disables legs rendering in vehicles.
cl_legs_offset
10 <--> 45 - Offset of legs from your player.
cl_legs_angle
-10 <--> 10 - Angle of legs. 0 by default.
cl_legs_safebones
0/1 - If enabled, scales bones with a safer method at the risk of causing view clipping. Should be enabled by those experiencing anything similar to this[files.catbox.moe].

Concommands

Toggles legs rendering on and off.
cl_legs_refresh
Removes and recreates the legs entity.

so about the shadow thing, the 'First Person Body' addon is feature-wise the best implementation possible, it solves the shadow issue by drawing its own.the only drawback being its performance hit. so CLegs is still the best option performance-wise, for low-end PCs and such

So sometimes, when I noclip out of the map, and then noclip back in, my legs completely stop rendering. But otherwise, this is probably my most favorite legs mod on the workshop.

I tried with Real CSM addon too

I understand that CSM draws the shadow from playermodel and legs are basically modified version of it (for example the angle setting) so that's why it will be impossible to sync the legs with shadow (for example, if you change the angle, the actual worldmodel of you is still the same and that creates inconsistency between your legs and your shadow)
but maybe there's a way to draw legs without any modification and that will work?
not asking to develop anything, i just want to hear your thoughts on it

im not sure what helped but it fixed itself, citizen gordon works now!

basically, shadow and legs are not synchronized and that looks off

there are multiple possible causes. try setting cl_legs_safebones to 1 and disabling any other view addons you have

Probably the best first person legs addon, only issue I have for now is that the legs sometimes disappear when noclipping, can that be fixed?
