I understand that CSM draws the shadow from playermodel and legs are basically modified version of it (for example the angle setting) so that's why it will be impossible to sync the legs with shadow (for example, if you change the angle, the actual worldmodel of you is still the same and that creates inconsistency between your legs and your shadow)
but maybe there's a way to draw legs without any modification and that will work?
not asking to develop anything, i just want to hear your thoughts on it

Set client and server settings to "classic" mode, then your leggys will show when looking down in that mode, but not in "realtime" mode. And be sure to turn off "aggressive classic."
