Sig-sauer pistol is a pistol developed by the Swiss SIG company and produced by the German SAUER company. The earliest model in the SIG-SAUER series was the P220 pistol. The SIG-SAUER P220 pistol was developed in the 1970s to replace the P210. Although the P220 is an improvement over the P210, it is more complete, more secure and less expensive than the P210. SIG developed a series of pistols based on the P220 with excellent performance and reliable operation, which are very popular in the military, police and civilian markets.
