True End Focused, NON-Spoiler Guide

This is based on the full guide by John Hooper/GAce, the translator of THE SHELL series:

However, I wanted to make a spoiler-free version that only covers the necessary choices, removes names that would spoil things, avoids bad endings, and skips any optional H-scenes.

Thankfully The Shell/Kara no Shoujo 2 HD is MUCH simpler than the original, as Crime Investigation scenes are much more streamlined (you always Investigation everything that lights up cursor once, then click End Investigation) and there are much less Map Slice of Life Choices to Make.

Normal Ending 1 (REQUIRED to unlock True Ending)
As said in the header, the only "good" ending you can get is Normal Ending 1 on a first read-through. However, it's still possible to get bad endings on a first read-through so make sure to pay attention to this guide closely.

  • If done right you will get Normal Ending 1 now
True Ending (unlocked after Normal Ending 1)
Almost all the choices to get the required Normal Ending are the same as getting the True Ending. On a second read-through there's a only a handful of different options and new choices to make so make sure to pay attention.

  • Click New Game
  • Prologue from first readthrough is automatically skipped, putting you on December 5
  • Also, prepare for a lot of new scenes marked as "Unread Text" in 1st flashback, including ones you've basically already seen on first readthrough.

Sure, if you want as many optional H-scenes while still allowing you to get the Normal/True End...


Normal Ending 1 Changes

* 12/27 - Immediately End Investigation -> Click Towel 72 times (not exaggerating!)


True Ending Second Readthrough Changes

* 12/19 Leave -> Carry her stuff to her room
