In Advanced Warfare there are 2 ways of reloading.

The Normal Way

Press the Reload Button once when some bullets have been shot out of the gun. This then reloads the magazine that you took out of the gun and places it back in the weapon. (You do not loose the ammo that you already had in the mag)

The Quick Way

When you are about to reload, you press the reload button 2 times. This causes your player to drop the current mag in the gun and you will end up loosing all the ammo in that magazine. This will make it so if you had 45 bullets in your magazine you would loose 45 bullets but, in return you have a much faster reload speed then someone that only pressed the reload speed once and ended up putting bullets in their magazine.

Pros and Cons of Doing Both Methods

The Normal Way - Pros

• You do not loose ammo already in the magazine.
  
• You will not run out of ammo as fast.

The Normal Way - Cons

• It takes longer to reload.
  
• Other players have a better chance of killing you while you are reloading.

The Quick Way - Pros

• Faster Reload
  
• You can take others out faster then the normal way

The Quick Way - Cons

• You loose the ammo in your magazine.
  
• You can run out of ammo quickly.
