Warhammer Fantasy Universalis

描述
Warhammer Fantasy Universalis (WFU) is a total overhaul mod that brings the immersive world of Warhammer Fantasy into the Europa Universalis IV engine. Featuring hundreds of custom nations, thousands of provinces, and all-new mechanics, WFU brings the rich lore and epic conflicts of Warhammer to life. Play as your favorite factions, complete custom mission trees, uncover powerful artifacts, and face the End Times as Chaos threatens to consume the world—or claim the mantle of the Everchosen yourself!

Warhammer Fantasy Universalis is immediately accessible by any EU4 player. No submenus and layers of custom UI - just jump right into the action!

Nearly every nation in the game has a full mission tree unique to its faction.

New to the mod and don't know who to play?

- Want a standard Game? Play Khemri and unite the tomb kings. Arkhan presents unique challenges and unique rewards.

- Want a defensive, economic heavy game? Play Karaz a Karak and push back the skaven and orcs while industrializing.

- Want to push back Chaos? Play Kislev, and carefully manage your chaos corruption while pushing back the tide.

- Like the HRE? Play Reikland and protect the empire. For a more challenging game of subterfuge and diplomacy, try Sylvania and turn the Empire Vampiric.

- Love War? Play an orc faction, like the Red Fangs. They need to stay at war to survive, so you might be at war the whole game.

- Want to Subjugate the World in Smoke and Chain? Play as Zharr-Naggrund and overcome a difficult start to conquer an unruly and disorganized world.

- Want to play backstabbing vermin Catholics? Play the Skaven and raid your enemies!

- Want to Play Tall? Play Athel Loren for the ultimate tall experience, they can go a whole game without conquering land and still be a great power.

- Want to Dominate Trade and Get Fat? Play as an Ogre Kingdom, unite your people, and extort all trade around you.

- Love cavalry, vassal play, and want to evolve out of a Medieval state into a modern state? Play Couronne, or any other Bretonnian nation.

- Like Managing Vassal Diplomacy? Play the Sea Court (or the Celestial Regency for a challenge).

- Want to play the underdog who becomes the Endgame Crisis? Play as one of the Norscan (Scandinavian) nations.

- Want to play Jungle Settling Religious Fanatics? Play as the Lizardmen and swat down Chaos incursions.

- Want to play a vindictive, jealous Superpower? Wrest power back into your own hands and reclaim your homeland as the scarred leader of Naggaroth, Malekith.

- Like Britain? Want to play as a stable, isolated, and "good" colonial superpower? Play as the High Elves, either Eatine or Avelorn and bring the Asur from civil war to a new golden age.

- Want a classic European Experience where you forge great colonies and reforge a long dead empire? Play as a Tilean or Estalian nation like Remas or Bilbali for a trade filled, mercenary infused play through.

- Want to literally destroy the world? Play Archaon to destroy provinces as you conquer them and make great sacrifices to the Chaos gods.

Core Features include
- The End Times, an apocalyptic endgame where Chaos corruption spreads and the Everchosen rises.
- Legendary artifacts to claim, such as Ghal Maraz or the Ring of Carstein.
- Faction-specific gameplay, like turning the Empire vampiric through intrigue and conquest.
- Racial mechanics, from terrain synergies and unique units to distinct bonuses and penalties.
- Grand quests, such as resurrecting Nagash by gathering Necromantic talismans.
- Skaven antics, including stealing Grey Seers and ravaging rival lands.
- Cathayan challenges, whether uniting the warring dominions as Emperor or seizing power as a minor faction.
- Devastating raids, where you can destroy enemy development and claim what is rightfully yours.
- Unique Modifiers and Events for all factions, from raising the dead to colonizing ruined cities.
- Unique Mechanics for all religions, from subjugating others as Hashut to casting rituals as vampires.
- Fall to chaos or vampirism, and embrace the unique benefits and penalties.
- Resurrect Nagash by collecting legendary artifacts, or Become the Everchosen in an apocalyptic endgame where Chaos corruption spreads.
- Reconnect the World Tree and spread unlimited growth, or gain technology from the old ones by reclaiming the polar gates.
- Go on a Grail Quest as a Bretonnian (and maybe even take home the fabled Chalice), or industrialize your nation as a Chaos Dwarf.
- Threaten the world as a unified Waagh or Skavenblight.

And much more!

Live out your Warhammer and EU4 fantasies in Warhammer Fantasy Universalis—the ultimate crossover mod for fans of both worlds. Will you lead your people to glory, or see them fall to the endless tide of Chaos?

Hey how long does it take for an Everchosen to be picked at most when the end times happens cause its been about 10 years and none have been picked. If something is messed up is there a console command to force one to appear?

Cheers on the quick fixes! Looking forward to giving it another go.

not sure if it's a bug or not, but in the end times, is it normal for the "open gates" event to pop up every 2–3 months? i know it's lore-accurate, but playing as a big nation and having to deal with 10–20 rogue armies every few months is kinda hardcore and it's already kinda hard to stop the chaos invasion itself. i am still loving the mod, really great work!

Thanks - I just fixed both those issues. The crownland issue is semi-hardcoded, but I've implemented a bit of a work around.

Another SoC observation: crownland seems to take a disproportionate hit after "taking" provinces for some reason. I "took" three provinces with 12 dev total and it dropped my crownland from 46% to 26%.

Love to see how this is coming along.

Started a Swords of Chaos run. Nomads-but-tall is a cool idea, and the special mechanics give it a unique and fun play-style: kudos!

One question: the Chaos Warband reform reads as if tribal development mechanics apply, but when I migrate any extra dev acquired stays in the now-unoccupied province. Working as intended?
