• When you get hit, especially by traps, do not tunnel-vision on getting your dropped coins back, it might cause you to take unnecessary damage or even die!
  
• Don't be scared of dying! You keep all your equipment which will give you a headstart in any subsequent run. Unfortunately you do not keep your stats from medals, however, but NPC's whose quests you have already completed will give you a free medal in subsequent runs.
  
• If you are struggling, try buying all the pills you can from the Plague Doctor as early as you can. The vampirism and heal on coin pickup pills do wonders.

In each run, you'll come across the bar area where you can buy healing drinks for 25 (heals ??), enter the VIP area for 100 and play the card dealer his game.

If you're low on money or just don't want to pay for healing, choose the green cards during the card game to get free heals.

In the bar area you can unlock VIP access for 100 . In return, you'll get a chest of coins, a chest with a card, two healing stacks donuts that should heal you full,

Note that some of the chests may require 3-5 Wit to open, rendering the VIP area not worth the entry fee.

Unlocking the Priest's briefcase once allows you to use his services (he
banishes the ghost when he gets close) for the rest of your playthrough (even on new runs). The code combiation to the briefcase is probably random, and there are no hints for it, you have to guess it. When you press a correct button, it will light up green.

The plague doctor offers to sell you up to 8 pills each run. See table below for pill information. The pills will start out costing at 10 and increase by 5 each purchase, therefore buying all 8 pills in a run will cost a total of 220 .

The plague doctor will offer to give you pills for a small sum of money. You will be offered to choose one of three pills at any given time, with no way to back out and be given a new choice. You can get a total of 8 pills in each run.
