Fix texture shadow transperency for vanila fences fence01a, fence01b, fence02a, fence02b, fence03a, fence04a


INSTALLATION

1. Unfortunately, workshop does not seem to be integrated with VRAD, so you'd have to move (or and unpack) .vpk from "steamapps\workshop\content\220\3375634905" into your hl2/custom folder the old fashioned way

2. Probably add
forcetextureshadow props_c17\fence01a.mdl
forcetextureshadow props_c17\fence01b.mdl
forcetextureshadow props_c17\fence02a.mdl
forcetextureshadow props_c17\fence02b.mdl
forcetextureshadow props_c17\fence03a.mdl
forcetextureshadow props_c17\fence04a.mdl

into your hl2/lights.rad

3. To see the effect you'd have to rebake map lighting with -TextureShadows -StaticPropPolys .

4. On some maps this would not suffice because shadows for fences were disabled per prop and you'd have to recompile

I dont know what you mean by rebaking textures, It's about rebaking lightmaps in the maps. Worked for me, when placing models in "custom".
