Add Mai Shiranui and other unobtainable DLC to DOA5LR!

As of today, many DOA5LR licenses have already expired.
That means apparently Koei Tecmo can't receive money in exchange for DOA5LR Mai Shiranui or for some collab outfits anymore.
This guide will help you to add Mai Shiranui and any unobtainable DLC as well.

Steps to add and unlock DLC

Step 1
Download this: Unobtainable DLC Unlocker[drive.google.com]

Step 2
Open the compressed file. Copy the two .dll files and the .ini file to your "Dead or Alive 5 - Last Round" game folder. This folder is located by default in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dead or Alive 5 Last Round".
Overwrite any existing files. Make sure to backup your "steam_api.dll" first for safety measures.

Step 3
Inside this folder, there is a "DLC" folder. Copy the DLC you want from the compressed file to your game's DLC folder.

Step 4
Open the game and play. All DLC you transferred should be unlocked now. Have fun!

I play online without any issues. You are just adding a DLC that's meant to be in the game after all. I haven't seen any comments reporting any problems either. But be aware I'm playing on PC.

I only bought the game recently to play on my deck despite having the LR PS4 version. The lack of a "Complete Edition" makes it very frustrating. (Back then in my hunt my hunt to get the most complete physical edition made me buy and sell all PS3 and PS4 editions they released)

I'm curious to try this enabler, but generally I fear that using any mod would brick my chances of playing online. Especially one that enables me to play a DLC character.

Can anyone verify or warn me of the consequences?

No. It would be a hell of a mod adding an entire stage with assets, entire new 3D models and interactions. I don't think it's even realistically possible. But you could search for it around the internet.
