This mod is an update of the "Big Country Economy Rework" mod by Dmitri. If Dmitri decides that I am breaking any kind of copyright here, I am willing to take this off the workshop at any moment.

Personally I cannot play this game without his mod, so that's why I went and updated it to the current game version, and it is based on UMM (UnityModManager). No BepInEx needed.

Additionally, my mod allows you to change some values that vanilla doesn't let you change:
  • GDP to IP scaling (you can make countries produce as much IP as you want them to);
  • Emissions reduction (you can reduce emissions produced by economies if you'd like, this is useful if you increase the GDP to IP scaling ratio)
  • You can adjust the multiplier that the original mod had hardcoded at 150 (1 IP per 150 billion for "fixed" priorities like BuildArmy, MissionControl, etc). You can change that 150 number to any other number.
Requirements:

https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/21/ — Unity Mod Manager. Use DoorstopProxy.

If anything doesn't work, make sure to check:
1. You have UnityModManager installed correctly;
2. Go to the folder Terra Invicta\Mods\Enabled\TIEconomyNuts and make sure it has the corresponding DLL which is named TIEconomyNuts.dll.

Thanks! Likewise, I really appreciate you both keeping the things up in my absence and converting the mod to Harmony. If you want, I'll be happy to share what I am doing and the sim logic behind it. With the changes in game code, it will be a little bit more involved than the original hack, but it will also be significantly better.

Implemented a fix for Vengeance's version, it now works with 1.4.78. The game has changed how it does things, so full refactor would take more than a couple of hours I spent yesterday. It's in the pipeline, and should be out in a few days. For now you have a working tool with "guts" exposed.

4.78 Public came out yesterday. TIEconomyNuts causes CTD after advancing time. Sometimes crashes when loading save and definitely when creating new game. Hopefully someone can pick this up and update as the alternative mod makes too many changes.

Thanks for keeping the mod alive. Maybe i am just stupid, but the BillionsPerIP value seems to have no effect. I can set it to 1 or 1000 and nothing changes. The IPPowerMultiplier defintly works

Thanks for the Mod, made doing big federations a lot more enjoyable. As others have mentioned are there any plans to update this to the beta version, or will we need for until the next stable build for an update?

Heads up--something in the current beta-release (0.4.49 or thereabouts) breaks this mod. Saves load normally but will CTD within a few in-game hours if the mod is enabled but run fine if it's disabled.

After this mod, playing with the vanilla economy feels like running uphill in sand.
