The real time of day does not matter, unless you have a night and IFR rating, you're only going to fly in daytime, regardless of the real time at the airport.
This airport does not look like it's got ILS. And it won't be too busy for a small airplane. And no, you won't land a 747 there. Which, again, does not matter, since you unlock many new airports very quickly.
Can I ask the obvious: is the decision irrevocable? Can we change our minds later?
If not, I'm going to be thinking long and hard first.
For example -- what time of the day will I normally be simming --and where in the world will that be daylight?
Is the airport controlled or not -- ILS? Too busy for a light plane? Too small for a big jet?
Can we have different airports for different career paths?
Will the chosen airport have payware? Will that change performance up or down? (Some airports seem to do that, after all).
Lots of questions come to mind.
Got my real life PPL this year and just prefer EDMS, don't know why. Maybe it's more familiar because even my checkride went there for a touch-and-go landing.
On my first flight with my new licence I landed there as my 1st task.
Decidophobia is very understandable. Be happy to have this 1st world problem... :-)
