finally, real beta

the episodes where originally meant to be one full game called half-life 2: aftermath, but early in development the decision was made to split it into 3 "episodes" this mod gives you a small glimpse into the alternative reality where they kept the aftermath subtitle

does not change the title text as the font used is missing letters and its impossible to spell out aftermath with it


overrides gameui_english.txt and conflicts with any other mod that also overrides it

!!! HOW TO INSTALL READ VERY IMPORTANT !!!

due to limitations with the workshop system* this mod needs to be manually installed into each games custom folder

head to steamapps/workshop/content/220/3367799763/ and copy workshop_000.vpk and workshop_000_dir.vpk

paste into each games (hl2 episodic ep2)'s custom folder (create it if it dose not exist)

thats it




(* workshop addons are not mounted until you load a map in either game, this means mods that change the localisation files, soundscripts or weapon scripts will not work as these need to be done when the engine boots, also its impossible to change the name of the workshop vpks meaning that atm you can only have 1 manually installed workshop mod at a time unless you feel like merging them together using various vpk opening tools)
