Nemeton Armors
Here are the stats for the Nemeton faction's armor sets that they give you. One in Chapter 2, with a choice between Light or Heavy Armor - the first two (blue) armors in the image below. Then again in Chapter 4, with a choice between three armors: Light Combat, Heavy Combat, or Druidic Combat Armor - the lower (purple) armors in the image.

The game doesn't tell you what the stats are as you're choosing them, so instead of making the choice practically blind, here are the stats for them.

P.S. I would have made this a simple post on the message forum, but I couldn't find a way to insert this image there. So, I made this very short and crude guide. It's not supposed to be pretty, only functional, and simply act as a reference for Nemeton players, that's all. I'm still playing the game, in Chapter 4, and should there be more armor choices with Nemeton, I'll endeavor to update this as I get there. (There must be a similar set of armors on the Remnants side, but someone else will have to provide those stats.)
Armor of the Bygones
Once you gather three pieces of the old Bygones armor parts, you can get one the following armors made for you. As with before, the game doesn't tell you the armor stats before you need to make a choice between them. Below are the stats for all three options, from left to right (following the previous categories): Caster Armor, Light Armor, and Heavy Armor.

So, is Stance Damage here is *incoming*, so I take less? That could have been made clearer. It sure makes heavy armor seem like the way to go, I'll just get stunned less.

You could kill bandits inside cave one by one. Enter the cave, wait untill two of them will go away then atack another three. they make heavy use of nets. Kill one or just spam or skills then run from cave, heal and repeat.

It's still possible to get the bandit armor in chapter 1, but it's significantly harder. You need to be able to do decent damage, have a lot of luck and skill with kiting, and do a lot of reloads. Abuse of Crow's Feet traps is recommended.

The 3 bandits outside, I kited them to the base of the hill, set down some traps to slow them, and stabbed them through a cliff with a spear while they were slowed and bleeding.

The ones inside were trickier, since there's 5 of them. I lucked out and 2 of them had bugged pathing after I reloaded my game, and were stuck in a wall so I was able to just stab them through the wall. The other 3, I had to kill more legitimately, but with multiple crow's feet traps again to slow them down and make them easier to stab.

Just for anyone else reading comments about the bandit armor, its no longer possible to cheese/lure the bandits after the 1.2 patch

Also OP, thanks for posting these stats. I was wondering which one I should pick. It looks like its also possible to get the other ones you didnt pick through the faction shop now too.

You're welcome! And yeah it's quite fantastic to get early, and quite rough. Since I tend to play it like I do Gothic and scour every dangerous corners, I managed to get my combined prowess good enough for the epic axe you can find at floodplains which was good enough to 1v1 them even playing sloppy with the first faction heavy armor and intermediate axe skill. Next play through I am planning to kite them to the ripper a bit earlier, or maybe cheese with scrolls haha

Thanks, Desu Vult. Good to know. I never got that armor in my play-through. Looks very good and if you manage to get it relatively early, it is super good. I remember those bandits being very strong, though, so it's going to be tricky to get it. I can easily see luring the "super bandits" to the Remnants gate guards (I did that for the lesser bandits in the near ruins), but going all the way to the Headless Ripper seems like a *long* way to kite them. Got to try to get this armor on my second play-through.

For the armor I mentioned here are it's stats:

Uniquely, it has 10% crit on it rather than the normal armor advantages.

There's another armor set that sits between the early faction armor and the late faction armor. You can get it from the camp with those super buff northern bandits. You can cheese them if the fight is too hard by luring them to the Remnants or better the Headless Ripper and having the NPCs tank them for you and deal some damage. . The head bandit drops a key to a chest in the camp with the armor, and you can get it in Chapter 1.

Yeah, you're right. It makes much more sense like that. As a funny coincidence, just today while in Chapter 4, I got an amulet in the game which halves the Stance damage I take and I realized that the armor's "Stance Damage -50%" must mean the same thing. (It's just that you don't have a Stance meter for your character, so it confused me at first.)

half stance damage is referring to stance damage taken by you. If you take a lot of hits in a row, you'll be stunned, and because you can't dodge everything in heavy armour you will actually see this happen.
