Strength works pretty well. Overall, NPC damage still outperforms player damage pretty hard, even when running on servers with thrall damage halved. Corrupted strength offering upwards of 100% more damage on top of strength's normal max bonus of 100% is quite powerful without feeling overly broken.
The vitality edits are frankly my favorite of the bunch, mainly because it provides a completely different method of survival compared to uncorrupted vitality. Instead of surviving by being a damage sponge, you survive through your ability to regenerate comically fast. Regen tank vs. resistance tank, something you don't get in vanilla.
Authority is good, though I did find out that it appears the Frenzy perk doesn't apply to the undead hyena, or rather it says it does but doesn't actually enhance its damage.
