I Have a larger version of the map in the works already, and i will be doing a tutorial if i have the time this weekend!

Honestly a great map! Have you thought about making larger versions of it? I reckon they'd be good for some large scale battles!

Thanks for the comments guys! I've now figured out minimaps and the preview of the map in the lobby, as well as ambient sounds so will hopefully be updating those aspects at some point.

In terms of the height map I used gaea and just played around until I found something I liked, being sure to export ina grey scale 16 bit png
