I think perhaps for the new Calendar types, the 'pattern matching' doesn't work entirely any longer; you have to have som 'division/counting' type thinking as well, to make it work. But I'll have to test it a bit more first, to see...
They can't always be done like that all the way through, but some can - so I thought I'd show that, too.
Figuring it out this way feels better then just counting days. All sticker shapes end up in a ladder like pattern that only really gets messed up if the next shape in the pattern goes off the far left or right side, otherwise always following "If A is after B, then A will always be after B as long as is lands on a numbered day", just creates a neat little puzzle that i have fun piecing together.
Overall, nice screenshots showing the process since it is hard to explain without a reference.

I have made this guide with the Calendar Daily I happened to get today.
I'll think about adding another section for an example with more than one Pair, just to show that the method works fine for those, as well...
