Make some super slowmo death scenes with this! It gradually slows down and goes back to normal when you die!

Only works in solo!!

Can be enabled or disabled with "slowmo_enabled 1/0".
Use "slowmo_freeze 1/0" to (mostly) completly stop time smoothly upon death.

by the way, it was not clientside ragdoll collisions that did it
probably reagdoll

and thanks for the info on the issues with the normal player corpses

also.. catch conflictions early
would not have known zbase npc's broke the whole system as bad as they did

that's honestly a really good rule of thumb,
you just never usually see me running gmod vanilla, and i tend to keep addons light

Always disable your addons when testing

i have several of those most times, perhaps one never got disabled in testing, so hey thats something i can look into
i mean. could just use a serverside ragdoll mod too huh

Unless you have an addon that changes the default player ragdolls with an actual ragdoll entity, it doesn''t work

phys_timescale working on the players corpse is the only reason i pushed to get it out, it looked baller
does it not work in your testing?

this works well, sure not for npcs (for now) but phys_timescale doesn't work for your body's physics when you die, so not really a clever idea too
