Lies of P Walkthrough - Collectibles/ Endings

****(06/ 14/ 25): The Overture part is only tested in "LIE" NG+4 playthrough, concurrently. I haven't tested yet in both NG and Truth playthrough. Thus, there might be some inconsistencies with the new in-game changes.

A simple walkthrough for items/ collectibles/ endings.
Let me know if I missed any items/ collectibles.

The optimal playthrough orders:

- NG: Accumulate many Humanity points as many as possible to obtain the Golden Lie weapon, and get the "Rise of P" ending. Including:
  • Dialog choices, including answer correctly the Riddles.
  • Reading notes. (DLC)
  • Play the records in the Gramophone from beginning to end.
  • Exceptional activities, such as reading notes (DLC), examining a certain subject, responding with the correct Gestures.

- NG+: Stay at Low Humanity and obtain whichever missing items/ gears from the NG, plus get the "Free from the Puppet String" Ending. Additionally, in subsequent playthroughs, there are better version (+1/2/3/4) of the gears. Amulets' +version can be found in separate locations. Defense Parts' +version can be obtained at the same location in previous playthrough.

- NG++ is up to your decision, as only the last dialog option matters the most to get the "Real Boy" Ending.

KRAT CENTRAL STATION
  1. Pick up Monad’s Lamp ahead.

  2. Open the door. Interact with the table,
    • On NG, pick your play style.
    • On NG+, Phrase 6 of P-Organs is unlocked.
    • On NG++, Phrase 7 of P-Organs is unlocked.

  3. Open the door.
    • Grab Sawtoothed Wheel on the right near the bench with luggage.

  4. Head into the building.
    • Grab Pulse Cell in front of the Statue. (Only in NG)
    • Grab Ergo on the left bench.

  5. Head up the stair and into the right corridor.
    • Enter the pathway on the right to the restroom. Grab Thermite.

  6. Head upstairs this time.
    • Pick up Passenger’s Note on the floor in a small shop ahead.
    • Continue on this balcony.
      • Grab Ergo in a small room.

  7. Head downstairs.
    • Grab Fable Catalyst near the door.
    • Open the shortcut.

  8. Defeat the Baton Police Puppet slaming down the corpses in the corner.
    • Received Krat Central Station Main Entrance Key + Workshop Union Lightweight Frame.

    • Grab Sawtoothed Wheel.

  9. Head through the shortcut door.
  10. Head up the stair and open the Main Entrance Door.
KRAT CENTRAL STATION PLAZA
  1. Activate Stargazer.

  2. Head to Krat Service Carriage on the right side. Grab Ergo.
    • Move along the right side. Grab Ergo near the stair.
    • Head up the steps.
      • Grab Sawtoothed Wheel near the gate.

  3. Head to the left side of this area.
    • Grab Fable Catalyst near the broken carriage.
    • Pick up Krat Time Issue 183 on top of the red luggage.

  4. Continue onward.
    • Grab Ergo in the corner next to the Puppet pounding on the door.

  5. Head through the passage to the cliff section.
    • Grab Ergo on the left blocked stair.
    • Listen to the phone booth.

  6. Continue onward through the street alley.
    • Grab Thermite near a barrel.
    • Head up the right stairs.
      • Grab Ergo on the ledge.

  7. Drop down to the ground below.
    • Head to right path.
      • Grab Venigni’s Urgent Repair Tool at the end.

  8. Continue on the other path.

  9. Head down the stair on the left.
    • Grab Fable Catalyst.

  10. Head up the stair to the bridge above.
    • Open the shortcut on the right.

  11. Crossing the bridge.
CERASANI ALLEY
  1. Activate Stargazer.
    • Grab Ergo near the Boxing Puppet.

  2. Talk to Wandering Merchant.
    • Depending on your chosen initial play style, buy other 2 weapons that you don’t have.
    • In NG+, buy Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 record.

  3. Head to the end of the path behind the Merchant.
    • Pick up Introducing the Parade Puppet.

  4. Head up the stair and open the door.
    • Defeat the Parade Master.
    • Received Parade Leader’s Ergo + Quartz.

  5. Head through the door.
    • Grab Fable Catalyst + Ergo in the left area.
    • Examine the malfunctioned puppet near the stair.
    • Investigate the Sign near the stair.

  6. Head up the stair to the upper section in front of the Hotel Krat Entrance.
    • To the left end, grab Ergo amongst the broken puppets’ parts.
    • To the right area, grab Hidden Moonstone.

  7. Knock on the door of the Hotel.
    • Choose “Human”. (Humanity+)
    • Open the door.
HOTEL KRAT (Chapter 1)
  1. Using Gestures on each character can result in different responses/ rewards.

  2. Talk to Sophia to receive Moonphase Pocket Watch.
    • Talk to her again.
      • Talk about Ergo.
      • Talk about Monad’s Lamp.

    • Gestures: Stalker’s Promise/ Respect/ Heart.


  3. Head in the left room.
    • Go down the left step to pick up Venigni’s Krat Landmark Guide I on the table.
    • Talk to Antonia. Received Someone’s Memories + Show Off Clothes.
      • Talk to her again.
        • Talk about lying.
        • Talk about Geppetto.

    • Gestures: Stalker’s Promise/ Greet.
      • Equip Someone's Memory.
        • Use Show Off Clothes gesture in front of her.
          • Received Ergo.

    • Examine the Piano.


  4. Head back to the lobby.
    • Talk to Polendina at the counter.
      • Talk about the Grand Covenant.

  5. Head to the other room.
    • Talk to Eugénie. Received Puppet String.
      • Talk to her again twice.
        • Talk about Stargazer.
        • Talk about Training.
    • Upgrade any weapon as you see fit.

    • Gestures: Stalker’s Promise/ Entreat/ Greet/ Heart/ Deep Bow.


  6. Examine the cat figures on the table behind Eugénie.
  7. Interact with the cat to see its response.
  8. Examine the sign under the Statues in the yard.

  9. Go back to the lobby and head up the stair to continue onward.
====CHAPTER 2====
ELYSION BOULEVARD ENTRANCE
  1. Continue onward.

  2. Activate Stargazer ahead.
    • Talk with Gemini.

  3. Drop off the ledge over the railing.
    • Grab Throwing Cell near the corpses.

  4. Head up the stairs.

  5. Continue onward. Go left at the intersection.
    • Grab Ergo in the corner.

  6. Continue onward to the other way.
    • Open the chest for LADA F150 Frame.

  7. Head up the steps and climb up the ladder in the alley.

  8. Continue onward the narrow ledge.
    • Head around the ledge
      • Grab Gemini’s Emergency Protection at the end corner.
    • Cross the walkway.
      • Grab Sawtoothed Wheel on the platform on the left.
      • Activate the shortcut ladder.

  9. Continue onward, passing the large sign bridge.

  10. Enter the building. Head upstairs.
    • Grab Attribute Resistance Ampoule in the corner of the room.

  11. Head outside.
    • Grab Electric Blitz Abrasive on the side ledge outside the room.

  12. Cross the plank to other roof.
    • Head around to the right end.
      • Grab Sharp Pipe.

  13. Climb down the ladder.
    • Grab Hidden Moonstone.
    • Head up the steps.
      • Grab Ergo.
      • Open the shortcut.

  14. Climb back up. Climb up another ladder ahead.
    • Go right around the balcony for Ergo.
    • Be careful of Thrower Puppet on the upper balcony.

  15. Continue onward to other balcony. Grab Ergo in the corner.

  16. Cross the bridge.
    • Drop down. Run and grab Legion Magazine in the corner.

  17. Head through the broken wall at the end.
    • Climb up 2x ladders to the rooftop.
      • Grab Fable Catalyst + Ergo on this roof.

  18. Drop down through the hole on this rooftop.
    • Head to the left balcony for Frozen Man’s Letter in the bedroom.
    • Read through it for Remembrance Gesture.

  19. Cross the iron beam.
    • Open the chest for Life Amulet.
ELYSION BOULEVARD ENTRANCE (Cont.)
  1. Activate Stargazer in the room ahead.

  2. Talk to Wandering Merchant in the adjacent room.
    • Buy Electric Coil Stick Head/ Handle.
    • In NG+, buy Quixotic record.

  3. Head outside and continue onward.

  4. Head to the blue roof ahead.
    • Go around and climb up the ladder.
      • Pick up Venigni’s Krat Landmark Guide II near the ledge.
    • Grab Ergo on the iron beam.

  5. Climb down the ladder near the iron beam.
    • Interact with the lit window opposite to the ladder. (Toma quest)
    • To the right of this window, in the narrow alley,
      • Open the chest for Workshop Union Standard Insulation Converter.
    • To the left of this window, grab Ergo near the scattering red luggage.

  6. Continue onward this street way.
    • Grab another Ergo near the broken carriage.
    • Grab Gemini’s Emergency Protection on the corpses that 2x Dog Puppets gnawing.
    • Grab Hidden Moonstone near the broken carriage on the side of the stair.

  7. Head into the valley around the corner.
    • Grab Hidden Moonstone on the steps.
    • Go further for Star Fragment in the corner end. Be careful of another Butler Puppet hiding on the left.

  8. Head back out of alley. Climb up the ladder opposite to the intact Krat Service carriage.
    • Kill 1x Red Butterfly for Hidden Moonstone on the crossing pathway.
    • Grab Star Fragment in the corner near the crates.

  9. Head through the broken wall.
    • Examine the sign on the broken door.

  10. Don’t drop to the ground. Instead, drop to the right platform.
    • Interact with the window with a crying woman figure. (Weeping Woman quest)
      • “I’ll find her”.

  11. Drop to the ground.
    • Defeat Police Baton Puppet.
    • Received Krat Police Baton Head/ Handle.

  12. Head through passage. Continue onward.
    • Pick up Torn Doodle near the red luggage.
    • Around the Krat Service carriage, grab Sawtoothed Wheel.
    • Open the shortcut.

  13. Head inside the building that a Puppet breaks out.
    • Repair the elevator. (Shortcut to the Wandering Merchant and Stargazer in the upper floor)

  14. Head back outside.
    • On the steps behind the broken carriage, next to the red building “Aubrey St. Baker”
      • Grab Venigni Urgent Repair’s Tool.

  15. Open the door. Continue onward.
    • Defeat Mad Donkey.
    • Received Mad Donkey’s Mask/ Hunting Apparel + Enigma Assembly Tool + Krat City Hall Key.

  16. Past the bridge, go around the left side, behind the carriage for Hidden Moonstone.

  17. Open the gate.
KRAT CITY HALL
  1. Activate the Stargazer ahead.
    • Weapon Assembly unlocked.

    (Swap around the Blades/ Heads with other Handles. Experimenting many combinations as you wish. You can revert to the original design by combining Blade/ Head and Handle with the same name.)

  2. On the left side, near the locked shortcut door
    • Grab Ergo near a crate and barrel.

  3. Head down the stair.
    • Grab Star Fragment under the streetlight.
    • Grab Attribute Purification Ampoule near the blood stained corpse.

  4. Head up the stair.

  5. Head into the left alleyway.
    • Grab Ergo in the corner.
    • Open the shortcut.

  6. Head back to the empty fountain. Head up the stair.
    • To the left, under the streetlight, pick up Krat New Issue 1124.
    • Examining the words on the tree.
    • To the right, destroy Headless Brute Puppet. Pick up Broken Baby Puppet.

  7. Teleport back to Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard.
    • Head back to the Weeping Woman window.

  8. Return to where you picked up the Broken Baby Puppet. Enter the Hall.
    • In the left corner, open the chest for Puppet Destroyer’s Amulet.

  9. Open the door at the end.
    • Defeat Scrapped Watchman.
    • Received Broken Hero’s Ergo + Quartz + Overcharged Storage Battery + Core + Small Wooden Officer Puppet.

  10. Activate the Stargazer.
    • Grab Faded Whistle near the benches with candles and toys.

  11. Teleport back to Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard.
    • Head back to the Toma window.
      • Use Faded Whistle near his window.
        • Interact with the window.
          • Received Ergo.

  12. Return to Hotel Krat.
HOTEL KRAT (Chapter 2)
  1. Play Feel record in the Gramophone. (Humanity+) (For Lie playthrough)

  2. Talk to Polendina.
    • Buy 2x Quartz.
    • Talk about Stalkers.

    If not enough Ergos to buy, you can use Ergo Fragments. DO NOT USE RARE ERGOS as they are traded for unique/ legendary weapons.

  3. Talk to Eugénie.
    • Received Fulminis.


  4. Head upstairs. Talk to Geppetto.
    • Unlock P-Organ.
    • Received Krat City Hall Courtyard Key.

      • Talk to him again.
        • Talk about all available topics.

  5. Talk to Sophia.

  6. Head to the side room. Interact with the bookshelves.
    • Gemini’s comments on a “certain” book.

  7. Talk to Antonia.

  8. Talk to Eugénie.
    • Talk about Venigni.

  9. Teleport back to Krat City Hall Courtyard.
====CHAPTER 3====
KRAT CITY HALL COURTYARD
  1. Head through the entrance.
    • Pick up Venigni’s Guide.

  2. Continue onward.
    • Open the gate at the end.
WORKSHOP UNION ENTRANCE
  1. Grab Throwing Cell amongst the corpses ahead.

  2. Head to the right of the entrance.
    • Pick up Miracle Cure near the balcony.

  3. Head down the stair.

  4. Head down the slope.
    • Head left to the narrow path.
    • Drop off the ledge and grab Fable Catalyst at the end near the crates.

  5. Move forward along the narrow balcony path.

  6. Head to the building that a Thrower Puppet on the roof.
    • Grab Special Resistance Ampoule near the ladder.
    • Head further to the alleyway behind the building
      • Grab Attribute Resistance Ampoule at the end.

  7. Head back and climb up the ladder to the roof.
    • Grab Ergo.

  8. Continue onward. Don’t go down the stair.
    • Drop off the opening next to the stair.
    • Grab Gemini’s Emergency Protection near the crates.

  9. Head past the entrance to the phone booth.
    • Pick up the receiver.
      • Answer “Human”.
        • Received Trinity Key.

    • Turn around and destroy the crates.
      • Grab Ergo.

  10. Head back and cross the bridge.
    • Grab Legion Magazine nearby.

  11. Go up the stairs and climb down the ladders.
WORKSHOP UNION ENTRANCE (Cont.)
  1. Activate the Stargazer.
    • Grab Chain near the rubble.
    • Examine the poster.

  2. Head upstairs to the upper floor.
    • Turn around to the right
      • Grab Ergo near the ledge.

    • Enter the left room.
      • Drop through the hole.
        • Open the safe for Salamander Dagger Blade/ Handle.
        • Open the door to get back to the Stargazer.

  3. Continue onward on the upper floor.
    Be careful of not falling through the hole covered by wooden boards.
    • Grab Hidden Moonstone near the crates far ahead.

  4. Head inside the building.
    • Cross over to the far right ledge.
      • Grab Sawtoothed Wheel.

    • Drop down to the ground floor.
      • Open the chest for Belford Shock Cartridge.

    • Head in further.
      • Past the ladder on the right side, pick up Factory Manager’s Report.

    • Continue onward.
      • Grab Ergo amongst the broken puppets.

  5. Drop down through the hole that a big crate crashed on.
    • Defeat the Elite Shield Puppet.
      • Received Legion Caliber + Hidden Stone.

  6. Head up the stair to the upper walkway.
    • Kill 1x Red Butterfly for Motivity Clank.

  7. Continue onward through the passageway.
    • Grab Thermite near the railing.

  8. Climb down the ladder to sewer area.
WORKSHOP UNION CULVERT
  1. Activate the Stargazer.
    • Grab Electric Blitz Abrasive near the big red pipe.

  2. Head through the Red Pipe to the Corruption flooded area.
    (Use Attribute Resistance Ampoule to slow down Corruption buildup)
    • Move along the right edge of pool.
      • Grab Ergo + Fable Catalyst.

    • Head further.
      • Grab Ergo near the crates on the right edge.

    • Head to further end.
      • Kill 1x Red Butterfly for Hidden Moonstone.
      • Grab Venigni’s Urgent Repair Tool + Hidden Moonstone.
      • Open the chest for Indomitable Amulet +1. (NG+)

  3. Return to the Stargazer.

  4. Head up the stair.
    (Be careful of the rolling fireball. Utilize it to destroy Puppets)
    • Grab Ergo ahead.
    • Grab Ergo at the left end.

    • Head up the tunnel.
      • Grab Gemini’s Emergency Protection in the midway.
      • Open the shortcut.

    • Head to further end.
      • Open the chest for Fire Axe Blade/ Handle.

    • Head through the broken wall.
      • Grab Ergo in this passage.

  5. Head outside.
    • Grab Star Fragment in the corner opposite to the NPC duo.

    • Talk to Red Fox.
      • Gestures: Stalker’s Promise.

    • Talk to Black Cat.
      • Purchase Ripped Venigni’s Krat Landmark Guide III.
      • Read through it.
        • Talk to him again.
      • Gestures: Stalker’s Promise.

  6. Head through the passage.

  7. Head further in.
    • Grab Ergo near the fan.

  8. Head further in the left passage.
    • Open the door with Trinity Key.
      • Open the safe for Blue Blood’s Tailcoat + Quartz.
      • Examine the object in the middle of room.
      • Examine the writing on the wall.

    • Grab Attribute Resistance Ampoule at the corner end.
    • Activate the shortcut ladder.

  9. Head back and go through the red pipe.

  10. Head left and go down underneath the red pipe.
    • Grab Saw Blade at the end.

  11. Continue onward through the red light tunnel.
    • Defeat Flame Golem Puppet.
      • Received Swordsmanship Master’s Amulet + Hidden Moonstone.

    • Grab Attribute Putrification Ampoule on a corpse at the end.
    • Pull the level to remove the corrupted water.
    • Open the shortcut.
WORKSHOP UNION CULVERT (Cont.)
  1. Head through the shortcut and back to the NPC duo.

  2. Head up the stair to the upper floor.
    • Enter the right room with hanging puppets.
      • Grab Special Purification Ampoule under the hanging Puppets.

    • Head up to the upper walkway for Doctor’s Confession.

    • Head back down and to the room below.
      • Head up to the upper walkway.
        • Pick up Have you seen this eccentric?! on the table.

    • Climb down the ladder in the corner of the room, where the hanging puppets are.
      • Talk to the Survivor and defeat him.

  7. Climb up the ladder to the upper walkway.
    • In the left arch, grab Electric Blitz Canister.
    • Activate the shortcut ladder ahead.
    • Head right to the far end.
      • Open the chest for Mechanical Cryptic Vessel.

  8. Head to the middle walkway.
    Let the Joker Puppet and Head-covered Carcass take each other out. Eliminate which one is left alive.
    • Head up the stair.
      • Pull the level in the right arch.
      • Grab Star Fragment ahead.

  9. Head back to where you climbed up the ladder in this section.

  10. Head through the open passage.
    • Grab Special Purification Ampoule.
      • Defeat Big Boy Puppet.
        • Received Quartz.
    • Climb up the ladder.

  11. In the outer section,
    • In the corner ahead,
      • Kill 1x Red Butterfly for Balance Crank.

  12. Continue onward and head up the stair.
    • Grab Half Moonstone near the ladder.

  13. Climb up the ladder. Head up the stair.
    • Grab Half Moonstone.

  14. Head through the passage to other outer area.
    • Head left to the passage to a dead-end.
      • Grab Attribute Resistance Ampoule.
    • Head down the steps.
      • Grab Ergo on the beam.
      • Activate the shortcut ladder.

  15. Head up the step to the upper platform.
    • On the beams,
      • Kill 1x Red Butterfly for Half Moonstone.
      • Grab Attribute Purification Ampoule on the beam.

  16. Head to the platform on the right of the beam section.
    • Drop down one level to the ledge.
      • Grab Half Moonstone.

    • Drop down to the lower platform.
      • Open the chest for Red Fox’s Amulet down the steps.
      • Head around the corner near the ladder.
        • Grab Cluster Grenade.

  17. Continue onward the outer section,
    • Head up the steps.
      • Climb down the ladder.
        • Grab Full Moonstone.

        • Head around to the trap chamber.
        • Pass through the traps,
          • Open the chest for Quartz.
        • Pull the level to deactivate the traps.

  18. Head back and climb up the ladder. Continue onward to upper platform.
    • Defeat Puppet-Swinger Carcass bursting out the wall.
      • Received Legion Caliber.
    • Grab Saw Blade.

  19. Climb up the ladders.
    • Head into the room next to the elevator.
      • Grab Carcass Body Fluid Bottle.

  20. Ride the elevator up.

The Item? is meant to be random.

Not quite sure about the Cradle of God one. I might recheck that one again, since there was another user noted the same item as yours.

But I believe the 2 items? from the Order's Baton Police Puppet are also random, as I received different items from yours.

For the DLC, if you talk to the Tracker at Eventide Hotel Krat with the Two Dragons Sword equipped, he'll have a unique comment about it and give you a Dark Moon Moonstone of the Covenant

Unfortunately, no. Might be about 90% of the achievement. The rest % depends on how you play the game.

There are few achievements related to Max Upgraded Weapon (Normal & Special), Legion Arms/ Lvl5 P-Organ, etc. that by the 3rd playthrough, you should have more than enough materials to do so. (Not counting duplicates)

Other two are related to Perfect Guard/ Fatal Strike.
