C-627 Armed Cargo Transport

Vanilla, survival ready and minimum crew of only 1 pilot are the key aspects of the C-627 design.



Built under the emergency shipbuilding program to quickly transport material from planet surface to orbit, the Gaidaros is armed with 2 Assault cannon turrets and 4 Close-In Weapon Systems.

The vertical construction allows for more compact design but comes with unique challenges. The habitation area is significantly elevated compared to more the traditional layout and requires a landing area with a ramp for the crew.
Since the main forward thrust also serves to break / lift under normal gravity, thrust in the other 5 directions is rather weak and used only for manoeuvring.

Special features include backup power - hydrogen engine is turned on when stored power is less than 4%. Reserve hydrogen tank is activated when remaining hydrogen in the primary tank reaches 2%. Timer blocks for quick start-up and shut-down are also included.



Blueprint contains C-627 with datapads in cockpit inventory which include toolbar button descriptions and a quick reference handbook.
