* when one piece takes another, those peices 'embrace' and occupy a square together.

* an embrace can be moved according to your color piece's movement rules, but they can't capture

* if a single piece moves into an embrace, it replaces the piece sharing its color. the freed piece moves according to its own movement rules and can join another couple in turn.

* embracing your opponent's king with any piece is checkmate.
