How to Activate AC3 Remastered purchased with AC Odyssey

If you bought this game with the Assassin's Creed Odyssey Gold Edition, when you launch the game for the first time Steam will ask for an activation key. There is no activation key. Instead these steps must be followed:

  1. Download and install AC Odyssey. A Full 90 GB.
  2. Launch UPlay directly instead of letting Steam start it.
  3. Run AC Odyssey game once, start the main game but exit out of the initial cut-scene. This binds the UPlay activation key to Steam.
  4. Quit AC Odyssey and uninstall the game. No need to keep AC Odyssey installed.
  5. Download and install AC 3 Remastered.
  6. Launch UPlay directly instead of letting Steam start it.
  7. Run AC 3 Remastered.
  8. The game should be activated correctly and run without any issues.

what about my case, i bought AC 3 remastered not with any bundles just the game, the game started and i played for a little bit, came off and when coming back on ubisoft is asking me for an activation key. i hover over manage and there is no cdkey option there

For me worked just launching Oddysey via steam, and it indeed allowed AC3R to fun without asking for key.

When I bought Odyssey bundle and try to play AC3 there was no activation key needed to play or AC Liberation too.

bruh what's wrong with them , i need to download 90gb game just download another 30gb game?, why cant they give us activation key separately when they know they have added the game in gold edition, really annoying thing this is
