This mod edits bus routes, accelerating, speed, brakes, fix time tables, improves texts and audio to another level! I put too many hours and minutes of editing and modding to make this possible, so I hope you really enjoy it! ;D

The available languages of this mod are English and Spanish, so there you go if you want to translate.

Remember, the most edited file was "base.scs": This is not piracy methods! Always be sure to purchase the game, before you try it. Piracy it's gettin' more and more malware, for some reason...

And, if doesn't fit well, you can unninstall, via Steam and reinstalling it. Or, make a backup of "base.scs" first!

This doesn't work in 1.0 to 1.4 (maybe not, but don't try it because maybe doesn't work).
So must be 1.5 or latest version via Steam!

1) Copy/Cut the downloaded "base.scs" file.
2) Go to Bus Driver - via Steam directory.
3) Replace "base.scs" in main directory.
4) Play the game!

Notes:
If you open the directory files and see only busdriver.exe and launcher.exe, GO BACK from win_x86 > to bin > to Bus Driver (Main Folder) and you will observe the base.scs file. So, replace it.

(!) Edited and replaced "Super Mario Bros. Coin Sound" to one of A Simple Bell.
(!) Edited "thunder1.ogg" to a not so much repeated SFX, just like the other "thunder2.ogg" just to difference them.

+ Fixed text issues with english and spanish - where "Tier 4 - Hospital Express!" between those languages the reason of the mision was direrent in both.
(!) Edited audio HUD vehicle sound to an empty ammo because originally it was loud. Tell me if you like this change or not!

(!!!) I tried to put more sounds like addons but my new Windows 11 in the same PC of work and Gaming doesn't make this possible. Why, Microsoft??? (Or maybe It's me, my PC, WInRAR or 7Zip...)
+ Restored audio HUD options from previous update, but lower volume.
+ Restored Intro Music from original Bus Driver, when you start the game.
+ Fixing problems, adding more details and so on...

Today I got tired and nervious (5/11/2025) about the first problem mentioned in this version.
So, I'm sorry if I got late with the new version. I was planning to publish the new update for Halloween (Trick or Treat! Happy Halloween for everyone!!), but I'm just very busy with some activities that are really important to me and working hard and mentally for my future life.

In this version, PLEASE report crashes or game-freezing if you see or got issues, 'cause I fought for my life to make this version compatible. Maybe I just will use my Windows 10 laptop for mod compatibility.
