Solved this by limiting the framerate to 60 fps. I had to use the riva tuner statistics server tool (installed by MSI Afterburner) since the nvidia control panel setting would not limit the fps correctly. Before that the mission always crashed when the cutscene startet after leaving the station.

Might help with other crashes as well.
