Extract the file to the location of your liking.



All right, now install the _inmm238 application from the extract folder. This application is used to fix the audio and video of older game. The name is fishy but it works as expected ... if your expectations are good. Just hit next, next, next and you are good to go. The application will install itself in the Hogs of War folder.

You should have those files in the extract folder.



Now copy all other files from the extract folder to the location where your game is installed. For me it was - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\HogsofWar

You are almost ready to go now!

Save the changes and now you are almost ready to go!

Highlighted in blue are the files you have to copy to the game folder.



You are almost there! Now, go to the folder where the Hogs of War is installed. For me, that is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\HogsofWar and press Right click > Properties on warhogs.exe file.

Make sure to select Windows 98 under Compatibility mode in Compatibility tab (first red box). Then click on the Run the program as the administrator check box (second red box). Save the changes.

Now the easy part! Let's connect make sure Steam starts the new .exe file from the patch once you press PLAY. Otherwise game most likely will not start if you try to start the game from Steam normally.

Step 1: Right Click on the game in the library and press Properties.



Step 2: In the pop-up, under the General tab, write the following command in Launch Option

"FULL PATH TO GAME.EXE" %command%

Example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\HogsofWar\warhogs.exe" %command%



And now when you press PLAY the game will start! Cheers!
