August 7th, 1942. The 1st Marine Division lands at Red Beach on Guadalcanal in the United States’s first major offensive of the Pacific War supported by Great Britain, The Solomon Islands, New Zealand, Australia and The Kingdom of Tonga. At 9:10 in the morning the first wave lands completely unopposed and drives inland. On August 8th the 1st Battalion of the 1st Marine Regiment seizes the airfield held by the 11th and 13th Construction unit’s as well as two small companies of SNLF (Special Naval Landing Force). By August 8th, 1942 the Marines had secured the unfinished Japanese airfield near Lunga Point and would call it "Henderson Airfield" after a Marine pilot who had been killed in the June 1942 Battle of Midway.

There seems to be a missing dependency that is no longer available

This level would benefit from nature sounds rather than bombs in the distance due to the premise being you're the first marines there, no other fighting is going on. It would also really sell the jungle ambiance, it sounds too quiet especially at the beginning of the mission. Otherwise it's a fantastic mission.
