It is strange yeah, but I suppose a text change could also trigger a bug or just otherwise cause issues in the program itself. Like a crude example, if certain text field had certain amount of bytes allocated for it in the data, and the changed text went beyond it.
I tried launching the game with output redirected to a file to see what goes wrong, but got nothing. Probably disabled by default on a launched game. Wonder if there are arguments for the executable that would enable debugging? Maybe there would be information on the internet in Chinese.
Though if you find the cause / differences or modifying original works then it's all good anyways
No Win 11 or Intel for me, so the problems I've seen mentioned with those should presumably not be in play
