PunkBuster is the old nfs undercover online multiplayer anticheat that now is unecesary but if you launch your official nfsuc copy from steam it will be installed in your pc.

• Before you launch your official copy of nfsuc downloaded from steam make sure to:
  
  
  1. Delete the "PB" and "pbsetup" folder in the root folder of the game to avoid install it.
  
  
  
• If you already launched the game and you want to uninstall it you need to:
  
      
  1. Delete the "punkbuster" folder in "appdata/local/romaming"
         
  2. Delete this other folder in "AppData\Local\PunkBuster\UNCO"
         
  3. Run the uninstaller "PunkBuster Service Installer (pbsvc)" available here: https://www.evenbalance.com/downloads.php
  
  
  Also note that if you have another game like Battlefield 4 that uses this same anticheat maybe you dont want to uninstall it to still play the multiplayer.

Has the Challenge Series but has worse mod compatibility and some graphics errors but can be fixed with MultiFix mod.
