This mod is designed for players who have all the DLCs.
There are too many dependencies and combinations to manage for those who don't have all the DLCs (N DLCs => 2^N combinations, so 7 DLCs => 128 combinations).
=> If you want a specific version, please ask me and I will try to make it.
Now, the “I want them all” option gives you both MAJOR and MINOR transformations; but of course, I don't recommend playing with all the minor transformations... this option isn't really there to “continue the game” afterwards, but to ascend a certain leader profile.
The more “reasonable” options of choosing a single MAJOR transformation, on the other hand, allow you to continue playing if you want to.
Next mod update: implementation of level 20 for Dragons, Eldritch, and Giants rulers, allowing players to choose skills during ascension.
Yes, i have something like this in mind :)
And for up to lvl 20, i have an idea too...
And for the minors too.. just a choice un menu where you have all speel, but this become bad for a game; or menus like a already done, and with these choice, a "true" game can be done...
Why not reduce it down to 'no DLC', 'Giant Kings + Dragon's Dawn + Eldritch', and All DLC.
This way you'd get the basics down, a version that'd work for all lord types, and then the last for everything else?
As for minor transformations, Would it be possible to just universally make all tech cost 0, all spells cost 0, and all spells cost no casting points? It'd make the mod unusuable for 'regular' play but also make it so you don't have to script in a menu and players can just click to unlock all the tomes they wnat turn one, then instant cast the transformations they want.
The Archon Prophecy DLC does not contain any major transformations, so I don't have to do anything about transformations.
Only ascension skills are affected by this DLC.
But to add the skill, I had to add the “Definition_Research_ArchonProphecy.rpk” file as a resource for my own rpk.
=> This means that this mod will crash for players who do not own this DLC.
So I had to set this mod to “all DLCs” (in the next update, coming soon).
=> If you want a specific version for a specific list of DLCs that you own: ask me, and I will create a specific version.
Understand that 9 DLCs mean... 512 different DLC configurations... I can't create 512 versions, so I'll create one if someone asks me to.
(512: This corresponds to the binary number you can write with N bits, N being the number of DLCs; 0=DLC not owned, 1=DLC owned).
Other users are asking me to add minor transformations, but there are many and that's not the original purpose of this mod... but I'm thinking about it too at the moment...
And for me, the first issue to address: This mod greatly depends of DLC, so if I update it “for all DLCs,” it becomes unusable for players who don't have the latest DLC... I created a code for this, but I don't think what I did can be kept: with Archon Prophecy, I have to load the Archon Prophecy resources, which means that this mod will crash for players who don't have the AP DLC, even if I add a “without AP” menu to the mod... (and that will be the subject of my next post here).
Is it possible for it to add a 0 cost skill that increases level to 20, or immediately levels up your ruler to 20 on game start? One thing missing is that dragons/eldritch cannot start with their bonuses due to requiring leveling to get them so the mod doesn't help them much. Currently I've been doing a workaround with the 'godlike' mod to level to 20 and allocate the points before the event pops on turn 2 for this mod.
But make OP godirs is up to you and not me (everybody use the game as he want); simply i do not first made this mod to do this (i first made it to remove all minors transformations, and only keep a single major one...)
Well, i'll consider this in a futur version, ok...
btw it seems to work just fine with the latest update and dlc.
