- turn off steam overlay and only the EA app overlay
- set an fps cap of 52 fps on the game from nvidia control panel or AMD control panel. (specifically 52)
- install MSI Afterburner
- Set another fps cap on the game thru MSI afterburner @ 48 fps (48 fps on 144hz panel is very close to 60 fps on a normal display, this will help in breathing room for gpu and no need to worry, the frame pacing will be good as 144 hz can accomodate 48 fps)
- make sure steam and the ea app are set to power saving in the graphics settings (just search graphics settings in the windows search bar and set steam and ea app to run on iGPU)

[fps cap has been set taking into consideration where the game drops frames to lowest, so this should be setting up for an overall smooth experience]
