CHAPTER 1
Bullguard
The first boss enemy you'll fight in Chapter 1 of Black Myth: Wukong is the Bullguard, a Yaoguai Chief blocking your way a short distance into the Forest Of Wolves. To reach him, start at the "Front Hills" Keeper's Shrine and follow the path across the bridge. After that, continue along the path as it curves right around the rock, and you'll approach a gate with the Bullguard standing guard in front.
Wandering Wight
The Wandering Wight, curiously, isn't listed in your Journal as a Yaoguai. Possibly this is because it is an offshoot of a later boss, the Elder Jinchi. In any case, you'll find the Wandering Wight a short way beyond the "Outside The Forest" Shrine, just past the Bullguard. Cross the bridge on the most direct path forward from the Shrine, and you'll come to a clearing where the Wandering Wight does what he does best.
Guangzhi
Guangzhi is a Yaoguai Chief found on the opposite side of the "Outside The Forest" region from the Wandering Wight. To find him, start at the region's Shrine and take the left-hand path in front of you. Pass by the chest (open it if you haven't already), and cross the bridge guarded by the Wolf Archer. After that, follow the path curving left and you'll enter a clearing where you can fight Guangzhi.
Lingxuzi
Lingxuzi is your first Yaoguai King boss fight. This giant wolf creature can be found inside Guanyin Temple, at the end of the Forest of Wolves beyond the Wandering Wight. The path there is very linear and straightforward, so you should have no trouble finding this boss encounter.
Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang
Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang is a giant amphibian that hangs out in a very pretty part of the river running through the Bamboo Grove. From the "Snake Trail" Shrine, head up the stairs and across the bridge, then follow the path until you start heading down a wooden sloped platform. Jump off this platform to the right, and you'll land in the river. Then turn around and head into the larger area of the river, where you can fight Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang.
Guangmou
Guangmou is another Yaoguai Chief who can be found in the "Snake Trail" area of the Bamboo Grove. Thankfully though, and unlike Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang, Guangmou is found on the main story path, so you're pretty much guaranteed to cross him. Just follow the main path out to the large area littered with Skeletal Snakes, and you'll find Guangmou's arena directly adjoining this area.
Whiteclad Noble
Continue along the main path and at the bottom of the "Marsh Of White Mist" region you'll come to a watery arena containing the Whiteclad Noble boss. This is another enemy that appears in the Journal as neither a Chief nor a King, merely a character. Don't underestimate him, though. Aside from the fact that he has an annoyingly long reach and launches himself about like nobody's business; he also has two health bars, and a second phase where he transforms into a merman-like creature.
Black Wind King
The Black Wind King is a tricky customer, and may require a few attempts to defeat. You will fight him inside the Black Wind Cave, which is a fair old trek beyond the "Marsh Of White Mist" area of the Bamboo Grove, but at least it's a fairly linear path. The Black Wind King is waiting for you just beyond the double doors next to the "Cave Interior" Shrine.
Black Bear Guai
The final story boss of Chapter 1 is Black Bear Guai - the superior second form of the Black Wind King you fought earlier. The Black Bear Guai is found outside the other end of Black Wind Cave, at Bodhi Peak on top of the mountain. It's a linear (albeit very stairs-heavy) path up the mountain, so you'll have no trouble finding this particular Yaoguai King.
Elder Jinchi (secret boss)
The Elder Jinchi Yaoguai King resides in a secret area of Chapter 1; to unlock this area, you need to find and ring all three Bells scattered about the three regions of Chapter 1.

Here are the locations of the three Bells:

1. Inside the Guangzhi arena (Forest Of Wolves / Outside The Forest)
2. Up the stairs from the Guangmou arena (Bamboo Grove / Snake Trail)
3. Take the left path from the Whiteclad Noble arena (Bamboo Grove / Marsh Of White Mist)
The Red Loong (secret boss)
The most secret Chapter 1 boss of all is The Red Loong. This Yaoguai King cannot be accessed until you've obtained a certain item from Chapter 2, after which you need to return to Chapter 1 to face this boss. Therefore, some minor spoilers for Chapter 2 follow!

To unlock the Red Loong boss fight, you must obtain the Loong Scale (a secret item from Chapter 2) and then interact with the waterfall in the "Outside The Forest" area of the Forest Of Wolves.
How to get the Loong Scale
To get the Loong Scale in order to unlock the Red Loong boss fight, you need to progress through the first region of Chapter 2, past the first Yaoguai Chief fight against the Rat King and the Second Rat Prince. Once you've done that, head down the left-hand path and face the First Rat Prince inside the cave.

On the left-hand side of the First Rat Prince arena, there is a clay wall. You must break this wall, in any of the following ways:

1.Get the First Rat Prince to attack the wall.
2.Use the Wandering Wight Spirit's attack on the wall.
3.Use the Azure Dust form's slam attack on the wall (Azure Dust is obtained by completing the Man-In-Stone questline).
CHAPTER 2
Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw
The first boss of Chapter 2 that you're likely to come across is Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw, a giant amphibian with quite a family resemblance to Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang from Chapter 1. To reach this Yaoguai Chief, simply drop down to the right of the "Village Entrance" Keeper's Shrine in Sandgate Village, and follow the path into the nearby cave. There you'll find Xu Dog, a wolfish NPC wearing a blue cloak, who asks you to deal with Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw in the clearing just ahead on the lower platform.
Earth Wolf
The Earth Wolf lies beyond the main gate right in front of the "Village Entrance" Shrine, but you cannot reach it this way until later on. Instead, you must head around the right-hand side by turning left in the cave where Xu Dog resides, and following the path all the way into the larger area patrolled by the two-headed Rat Captains. From here, hug the left-hand wall until you find an entryway through into the area on the other side of the gate, where the Earth Wolf can be found on patrol.
King + Second Prince Of Flowing Sands
Possibly your first major hurdle in Chapter 2's roster of bosses will be the joint encounter of the King Of Flowing Sands, and his son, the Second Prince Of Flowing Sands. These two rats are found beyond the double doors in the area of Sandgate Village where the two-headed Rat Captains patrol (or patrolled, if you already killed them). Enter the arena for a lengthy cutscene, followed by an interesting two-pronged fight.
First Prince Of Flowing Sands
If you thought the Second Prince was a hulking brute, wait til you see his big brother. The First Prince Of Flowing Sands is located only a short walk down the left-hand path from the Valley Of Despair where you fought the King and Second Prince. If you left the King alive, he will make a blood offering to awaken the First Prince, after which he'll summarily be killed and eaten by his son. Plan rather backfired, really.
Tiger Vanguard
The Tiger Vanguard is the first Yaoguai King of Chapter 2, and he's suitably rather tough to defeat. To find him, head through the cave that houses the First Prince, beyond the Valley Of Despair. At the far end of the cave there is a small, slanted bridge you can cross, and not much further beyond that is a gap you can squeeze through. In the next room, take the path to the right and you'll reach the "Temple Entrance" Shrine outside the Crouching Tiger Temple. After that it's a straight trek up the temple steps to reach the Tiger Vanguard.
Tiger's Acolyte
To find the Tiger's Acolyte, follow the path beyond the Crouching Tiger Temple to enter the Yellow Wind Formation region. This region is very linear, so all you need to do really is keep pressing on until you find a bridge just beyond the "Windrest Hamlet" Shrine. On the bridge is the Tiger's Acolyte.
Stone Vanguard
The Stone Vanguard, interestingly, can be found at the intersection point between two region paths, so there are two ways to reach it. The first is by continuing beyond the Tiger's Acolyte and through the entire Yellow Wind Formation. At the very end there is a ledge where you can drop down into the Stone Vanguard boss arena. The other way to reach this arena is by heading to the right from the Valley Of Despair (King + Second Prince arena) through the Fright Cliff region and all the way to the end.
Gore-Eye Daoist
The Gore-Eye Daoist is a fairly lowly Yaoguai Chief in the grand scheme of things, despite appearing fairly late on in Chapter 2. To get to him, you can take one of two routes: either you can open the main door near the "Valley Of Despair" Shrine (after defeating both Vanguard bosses) and follow the path across the bridge; or you can head through the Stone Vanguard arena past the "Rock Clash Platform" Shrine, then turn right at the end of the path and take the sand slide down to the "Windseal Gate" Shrine. From there, just cross the bridge and head up the hill. Both paths lead to the same little clearing where you can find the Gore-Eye Daoist.
Mother Of Stones
The Mother Of Stones is a large, tucked-away boss who is required for the Man-In-Stone questline, though she doesn't feature in the player's Journal at all. To reach her, you must enter the cave in the centre of the Fright Cliff region, then take a left turn just before exiting out of the cave. This path leads you to an upper level of the cave where you can find the Mother Of Stones chilling in a corner.
Man-In-Stone
The Man-In-Stone is an NPC who doesn't really qualify as a true boss, but hey, he has a boss health bar, so I'm including him. You can find him and begin his quest by taking the lower route through the rock on the right-hand side of the "Squall Hideout" Shrine in Fright Cliff. He's trapped inside a rock, hence the name, and hence him asking you to deal with the Mother Of Stones in order to free him.
Yellow Wind Sage
The Yellow Wind Sage is the final main story boss of Chapter 2, and he's probably the toughest Yaoguai you'll face in this chapter, so don't face him unprepared. To reach the Yellow Wind Sage's location, you can take one of the two following paths:

1.Interact with the Tally in the Tiger Vanguard arena (after obtaining both Keeness Of Tiger and Sterness Of Stone), and descend into the Cellar region.

2.Progress to the "Windseal Gate" Shrine beyond the Stone Vanguard or the Gore-Eye Daoist, and go through the large double doors.
Shigandang (secret boss)
Shigandang is a secret boss that can be found in exactly the same arena as the Stone Vanguard, back at the far end of Fright Cliff. To unlock this boss, you need to collect all six Buddha's Eyeballs scattered throughout Fright Cliff. Each one can be plucked from an associated giant Buddha head statue and you'll find that you can interact with the boulder to place all the Eyeballs inside it.

The six Buddha Eyeballs can be found in the following locations:

1. At the start of Fright Cliff, just before the "Squall Hideout" Shrine.
2. In the cave on the left path from the "Squall Hideout" Shrine.
3. On the wooden platforms overlooking the Man-In-Stone path.
4. On the upper path left of the Man-In-Stone path.
5. On the balcony to the right of the Mother Of Stones boss arena.
6. Left of the "Rockrest Flat" Shrine.

Mad Tiger (secret boss)
The Mad Tiger is a Yaoguai Chief that can only be unlocked by completing the Old Rattle-Drum questline. Don't know what I'm on about? Once you defeat the Tiger's Acolyte you'll receive the Old Rattle-Drum item. After this, if you travel to three specific areas in order you can interact with the spirit of a child, who will lead you to a the secret Mad Tiger boss.

Here are the three locations where you can use the Old Rattle-Drum:

1. In the right-hand area with lots of corpses inside Windrest Hamlet.
2. On the right-hand side just beyond the main doors you unlock in the Valley Of Despair.
3. By the well in the far end of the Earth Wolf arena.

After playing the Old Rattle-Drum at all three locations, the child will appear next to the well, and jump inside, inviting you to follow. Interact with the well to jump down into a new area - the aptly-named "Bottom Of The Well" - where you can fight the Mad Tiger.
Yellow-Robed Squire (secret boss)
When you first meet the boar-faced Yellow-Robed Squire, he is a passive NPC rather than a boss to fight. You can find him resting in a clearing at the far end of the Rockrest Flat, too drunk to get up. His questline unlocks the ability to fight 3 new bosses (including himself)

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Obtain a Sobering Stone from Windrest Hamlet or the Man-In-Stone's shop.
2. Deliver the Sobering Stone to the Yellow-Robed Squire.
3. Travel to the Crouching Tiger Temple and speak to the Squire there.
4. Deliver a Jade Lotus to the Squire at the Temple.
5. Return to the Rockrest Flat where you first saw the Squire, and approach him while he's pacing nearby.
Tiger Vanguard (secret boss)
The "Tiger Vanguard" is a variant of the original Tiger Vanguard who you encounter a short way into the secret area that you can unlock by following the Yellow-Robed Squire's questline. So if you haven't already, read the instructions just above to learn how to face this boss.
Fuban (secret boss)
Fuban is the main boss and Yaoguai King of the secret region that you unlock as part of the Yellow-Robed Squire quest. In this memory realm, you must join the Yellow Wind Sage in battle against Fuban, a gigantic sand beetle that terrorises the desert. To find him and begin the fight, simply walk up to the hill where the Yellow Wind Sage is waiting next to a giant drum, a short distance past the "Tiger Vanguard".
Black Loong (secret boss)
The final boss in our Chapter 2 list is Black Loong, a very easily missed Yaoguai King who resides behind a "sand waterfall" to the right of the Rockrest Flat Shrine. You can only access this boss by obtaining a specific item elsewhere in this chapter: the Loong Scale. Incidentally, this is the same item that gives you access to the Red Loong boss in the Forest Of Wolves in Chapter 1.

CHAPTER 6
Supreme Inspector
This is your first true test in Chapter 6. Just follow the main way and he will be after the Verdant Path Shrine
Jiao-Loong of Waves
You can fight this optional boss in Chapter 6 by returning to the first shrine in the region. From the spot where you obtained the Somersault Cloud from the Supreme Inspector, go past the pit with chains. At the cliffside, look below you to see a pool of water. Land on it to make this Yaoguai Chief spawn. It also drops the Waterward Orb curio.

Son Of Stones
This golem is relaxing by a cliffside area overlooking the lake. It won't attack automatically, so you have to hit it a few times.

Poison Chief
There are several Poison Chief minibosses in this region and they have similar abilities, such as tossing out green pods that explode at the same time.

Water-Wood Beast
This giant hippo resides in the western edge of the lake. It likes to dive underwater before chowing down on your character in a single gulp.
Lang-Baw-Baw
There are six frog minibosses in the game. This particular creature can be found in Chapter 6, and it has a stone-based deflection move. It is on the East side of the lake, you can see a place with lot of dirt/sand and the frog is sitting there.

Gold Armored Rhino
Head East after the collecting your reward when killing Supreme Inspector. This is the first legendary beast you face as you're collecting the mythical-rarity Monkey King armor set. Its thick hide makes it impervious to light attacks, so you need to destroy its horn with a heavy attack instead.
Cloudtreading Deer
Your next foe is a majestic deer that uses ice and win to stymie your progress. Don't let this tranquil place fool you because it will turn into a frenzied blood-soaked carcass.

Giant Shigandang
While exploring Mount Huaguo in Chapter 6, you'll notice a narrow ravine that leads to an area with a massive rock formation in the middle. And, of course, this rock formation turns into a boss known as the Giant Shigandang. It will even roar, making your Somersault Cloud dissipate and causing you to fall straight to the ground.

It's not actually a battle. Rather, it's a stat check where your attributes come into play.
