Developed after the Vietnam War as a means of improving the M16A1 rifle, the M16A2 had a series of changes meant to mostly improve accuracy and convenience. These included, for example, a better muzzle device, a 3 round burst instead of an automatic setting, or stronger polymer materials to increase durability.

@ravenfield guy Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think he has plans now to go modern era. Technically speaking, he likes making historical based mods rather than modern ones now. So if you want your modern stuff from him, you gotta wait for a long time.
