Hiya there!
This is MagickaForge, a open-source content compiler/decompiler for Magicka that i've been working on for a bit.
It can generate XNB files (Magicka's asset files) via means of a JSON file and vice versa!

This effectively allows you to mod any character or item you'd like in the game with the full power that the game provides- like making every character tiny, turning normally unplayable characters into fully controllable wizards, making a sword that deals a few billion damage or perhaps a sausage that can summon AI wizards if you're lonely! Everything is determined only by what you can think up!

To top this all off, the tool comes with an entire collection of Magicka's vanilla characters/items as jsons which you can use as references should you want to!

Thank you and take care, I can answer any questions in the comments :3
Requires .NET 8.0!

Hiya- glad to see someone is making use of my tool :>
Does the game generate any errorReports in the executables folder? Those would help a ton on debugging.
As for the AI wizards, you can accomplish this by using the Spawn item event and summon a wizard (or any friendly character really) + some fuzzy statements.
Unfortunately there's noot really an easy way of going about doing that in the sense of "SummonWizard" or something and I still need to write the documentation but if you contact me on discord under "ryleii_" I'd be happy to share what I know + the Jsons for the AI wizards :)

I've been using this for a few days and having some fun. But, I'm curious: the post mentions summoning AI wizards I assume as an ability on a staff. How is that accomplished?

Also, I tried to edit some robes but every set i try crashes on game load; i assumed it was because i was picking the wrong version in the compiler but i tried both options (old and new vers.) and it still crashes. Is there something specific I might be doing wrong?

Either way, thanks for the tool its been really interesting : )
