This guide is meant to help numbskulls like you put the ITB Parts Kit to use in cheating gaining a power advantage in Limited-class races.

Intro
The ITB (Individual Throttle Body) Parts Kit Is unlocked at 22,000 XP, & costs $2,400 to buy.

It directly replaces the stock intake manifold, and is allowed in Limited class races, presumably because the car is still naturally aspirated.

So, here's roughly what the kit will look like:


& here's the hunk-of-junk Catfish I bought for demonstration:

1: Removing The Stock Manifold
If you've unlocked the ITB parts kit, you've DEFINITELY unlocked Autofasten. Go to this red part here, & rip it out.

Save those M8 Flange Nuts, you'll need 'em later.

If you plan on turbocharging your car at a later point in time, KEEP THE STOCK INTAKE. You'll need it. Go ahead & throw it in your Stuff Corner.
2: Fuel Rail Replacement
Rip out the old fuel rail, & line it up with the new Billet Rail.


Switch the injectors over. Good GOD these ones are in awful shape.

If you were actually going to race this car, I would recommend using this time to get new fuel injectors. Don't lose your injector spacers though!

Plop the new rail in the engine, using the same three M8X15MM bolts from the old one. They torque to 20Nm.

3: Building The Body
Now we get to the important part.

Set your ITB Manifold down on your work surface of choice.


Put a throttle body on each hole. Screw them in with sixteen M6X20MM Socket Cap Screws. 4 per throttle, all torqued down to 14Nm.


Now. 4 trumpets, one for each throttle. Eight M6X12MM Socket Cap Screws (two for every trumpet), & torque 'em down to 12Nm.

4: The Annoying Part With The TPS & Linkages
Okay, see the side of the mechanism that's leaning over? With the wheel thingies on them?


Your linkages go there.

The hitbox is a bit weird for them, so just kinda move your cursor around slightly below where they are in this picture to find them.

Use your 6 M4X15MM Socket Caps to secure them, torqued to 8Nm.

The Other Side

See those holes there?


That's for the TPS & blockoffs. Your last eight M6X12MM Socket Cap Screws, torqued down to 12Nm.


AFAIK it doesn't matter where you put the TPS. Put it wherever; your car, your rules.

Aaaaaand just like that, it's assembled! Time install it.
5: The Moment We've All Been Waiting For


Remember those nine M8 Flange Nuts from the old intake? Put them on, torqued to 40Nm.

Now, stand back & admire your work!
Final Checks
Remember to always test your car after you do any work! Here's the final output for the demonstration clunker:

Don't mind all the other problems.

How much of a power difference does it make?

Up to 5 Horsepower.

Here is the difference in stats BEFORE the ITB installation, on my near-pristine limited Catfish:


& here's WITH the ITB:

Pretty big difference, in a league without many options for an advantage.

Now, get out there & race! Limited league races are moreso about the driver than the car, so ITB intake or not, that dunce is gonna need some experience as well if you want trophies.

The Future Of This Guide

This guide is not applicable to the current build of the game, due to the fact that the ITB isn't implemented yet. I plan to update it once it is.

More likely than not, the new ITB system will be more complex. In this case I will have to add extra steps, & I plan on marking them with an emote to signify that they only apply to current builds of the game (probably :betalord:).

In the off chance that a step in this guide is no longer applicable in the current build, I will mark that with an emote as well. (probably :cms18scrap:).

Steps that are applicable in both versions of the game probably won't be marked by an emote.

To sum it up: :betalord: will mean "Current Build", :cms18scrap: will mean "Legacy Build", & no emote means "Applies to both".
