Great job!

Try 3 different animals in every biome. Instead of 30 points you get 60 points.
I keep my recycles just to remove some of the initial animals placements, so that I can turn 3 bees into 1 bee 1 goat and 1 eagle.
I still haven't reached 2100, but I reached in my second try 2040, and ran out of recycle, but also had 6 stranded tiles that could have made another 12 tiles habitat.
I have a tendency to "3 star" a puzzle before I move on and I've been hard stuck on Continental Medium for hours. The strategy you outline above is great to consistently get 1800 points, give or take, but I have never broken 1900, let alone the 2100 needed for the maximum rating. I may just be misunderstanding the harmony system, but I have tried countless times with varying river sizes, lake configurations, etc, and the most points I can ever seem to get is capped at about 1820. Its one of those frustrating things where I don't see any way that its even possible to score more points. I have even had a couple tries with no open spaces, perfect 12 tile biomes with 3 matching animals in every biome, and every lake and river placed as perfectly as I could place them.
Again, it's entirely possible (and likely) that I have just missed a key scoring mechanic, but at this point its almost enough to make me drop the game entirely...
