barney didnt die in my play even tho i visited later . also after meeting him just sit on the sofa and wait an hour cause he will go work on reba 2 then the gate will be unlocked lol you can just pick it up.

You should make a note that the player should go directly to barney immediately when entering the area or he will die, I wen't into the church and funeral home just outside of salem and finished them first and when I got to barney was dead so I had to go back to an earlier save to fix it
