Hunter With No Name

The nameless (at least to the Americans) Ki-100 was a leap from the slow and maneuverable stereotype set forth by earlier Japanese aircraft forced by the ever-growing threat to the Emperor of Japan. Extremely fast and carrying potent weaponry, the new fighter took to the skies to duel P-51D Mustangs and B-29 Superfortresses high above the mainland. Like the other breakthrough interceptors fielding by losing Japan, none could be made in enough numbers or face the overwhelming firepower and numbers of their adversaries.

These aircraft were hunters in a forest of mountain lions.

Startup:
> Turn ON "ENGINE MASTER"
> HOLD "ENGINE MAGNETO"
> Turn ON "RELEASE WHEEL BRAKES"
> Throttle UP and pull UP

Weapons:
> Melt bombers, you have 800 rounds.

Rearming:
> Refueling is on the underbelly and hidden.
