UP & BNSF Central TX

Beskrivning
What's In It:

90 or so miles of single track mainline, along with sidings, spurs, yards, and interchanges. It condenses what would be the UP Glidden Subdivision running between Rosenberg, TX and Kirby, TX. This portion of the famed UP Sunset Route starts out on flat farmland on the east end (Rosenberg, Houston area) but ends up taking on rolling hills and substantial grades as it goes further west towards San Antonio, following I-10 most of the way. The west-most end is Kirby, where the biggest yard on the route is along with fuel pads and a crew change point.

Features:
- Speed Limits, Mile Markers
- Basic/Necessary Scenario Markers
- Signalling & Crossings (May need to be patched)
- Track Grades & Superelevation
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Traffic on the line:
- UP runs about 10-15 trains per day between the Houston and San Antonio area on these tracks, with some westbounds merging at Flatonia coming down from northeast TX to go to San Antonio. Traffic includes manifest, autorack, bulk/empty sand, the occasional intermodal, and other random local/long haul jobs (Grain, Coal, etc).

- BNSF has trackage rights running east on the Glidden Sub out of San Antonio and runs about 5-10 outbound San Antonio freights that cut north onto the Cuero Sub at Flatonia to go to Temple, DFW, and beyond. Traffic includes manifest, intermodal, autorack, and bulk movements.

Sidenotes:
- This is NOT an exact replica, nor did I use Google Maps to format. This route is out of likeness/inspiration of Central TX. Some towns/cites/yards may closely resemble places in TX, but are not exact in detail.
- Does not come with scenarios or include a working Quick Drive scenario. My expertise is making routes and my knowledge of scenario creation is very basic. If someone wants to take point on that, by all means, go for it.

This mod is still WIP?

I'll help you with that route you working on.

What remains as WIP? As a 60 mile route I'm sure scenario makers would be interested in a final version of this, but obviously find any reported bugs first. :steamhappy:.
