As proof of concept, I've just squeezed an awful run that ended with 33 minutes, 10 deaths and barely 450k points... and still got S-rank.

The most curious bit is that, if one checks the rankings on a fresh game install, the #1 score is a 452300 A-rank (which should be impossible based on the given 450k threshold). Dev mistake?

@Ao Oni which, by the way, is the exact same score you mention having gotten. Perhaps you saw that prerecorded one instead and got confused?

I did it in the main story, but i then did a run with 24 minutes and barely more score (around 456000), so I'm pretty sure you need a time of 25 minutes or less

Did you get this score in regular story mode? If yes then idk, because I checked the code thrice and I'm pretty sure that the rank system is locked to the values I wrote in this guide.

Honestly, i don't know. Games code clearly says "if your score is 450000 or more, it's S rank".
