- The Maniac achievement is about getting S rank in every stage of the game (12) in hard difficulty or above.
- The perfect achievement is about finishing a stage without getting hit on any difficulty.

All you need is a 2nd controller.

- At the beginning, choose the stage, your character, and the second character for the second controller, and make sure that FRIENDLY HITS option is enabled (On).
- At the start spam super move with the second character (Y) till their lives are depleted.
- With your main character hit the second character for a kill.
- Do it again to take the second life of the second character.
- You can now play to complete the stage and you will get the S rank.

Notes
* You may get hit or die and still get the S rank.
* If you happen to get A, B or even C ranks, think about getting good amount of points through your game play by:
+ Favorising Combos.
+ Collecting items.
+ Even if your life is full, make sure to collect food.

- Why is this working?
* For the game, only hits taken from the enemies are counted, friendly ones are not.
* At the end of the stage, you get all the bonus points from the second character including Perfect bonus.
