LIM Krait-Class | Assault Carrier

The Krait-Class - later referred to as the Kestra-Class in its mercantile configuration - is an assault carrier capable of fielding 6 fighters from its networked landing pads, but is able to additionally field several more if parked elsewhere on the flight deck. Designed to function with the MCI Orinoco Mk1, the pads are perfectly spaced to utilize up to 5 of these runabouts. However, the Mk2 cannot be stationed on the rear pads.

Functioning as an assault carrier is not its only role. It also houses a fully-upgraded refinery and an excess amount of O2/H2 generators. With these, it can function as a mobile refinery or fleet tanker for larger ships. It has been outfitted with the Anaconda Flight 2's hull to allow for more thorough point defense placements, resulting in 6 highly agile point defense turrets on top of 3 higher-caliber CIWS turrets which allow the carrier to perform basic self defense and not entirely rely on a fleet of frigates and destroyers.

The internal space for this carrier is sparse, only featuring a bridge and two cryo cabinets at the rear of the vessel, accessible via ladders to the sides of the superstructure on the flight deck.
