Want to play Princess Maker 2 Regen on the Steam Deck? Its Possible! But you need to do some simple steps first.

(This guide is complete but this is the first guide I ever made, I will try to make updates in the future to make it less ugly.)

Princess Maker 2 Regeneration for PC does not have controller support, this is no problem for the Steam Deck though!

1. In the PM2 Regen game page, press the controller button to go to Controller Settings


2. In Controller Settings, select the "Current Button Layout" section highlighted.


3. Select the "Mouse Only" layout


This will let you use the joysticks and trackpads to move the cursor and let you select by clicking the trackpads, the A button, or the R2 button

Princess Maker Regeneration 2 for PC for some reason does not accept resolutions below 1080p and will look like this image below:

This is because the Steam Deck is closer to 720p. No big deal! we can have the game think its in 1080p and it will display as intended.


1. In the PM2 Regen game page, select the gear button.


2. In this popup menu, select "Properties..."


3. In the Properties Menu under General, select "Game Resolution"


*Make sure "Set resolution for internal and external display" is turned on. It was automatic for me, but not for some others.

4. The resolution you want to select is 1920x1080


After this, the game should be able to be interacted with, and display correctly! Enjoy Making Your Princess (2 Regeneration)!
