Thunderstorm

Beskrivning
Overview
This mod brings thunder to life with powerful strikes and immersive weather sounds — wind, rain, storms, and even space ambience. Optional ambient sounds are included as a bonus and are fully tweakable to your liking.

Compatibility
Ambient Rim – Fully compatible. Ambient sounds from my mod are automatically disabled to prevent overlap.
Rimworld: Soundscape Enhanced – No conflicts. Some of my sounds may override theirs, but everything is tweakable in the options.
・ Won't mess up your saves, removable anytime.

Now, sounds that might overlap are turned off by default. You can easily see any overlapping or overriding options and toggle them on or off as you like.

It’s just hard to blend different soundscapes without breaking the vibe...:steamsad: That’s also why this mod, which started with just thunder, kept growing.

You’re right, a more detailed description is definitely needed. I’ll add that.

Why?
Does it have better implementation?

Also I think you should include more detailed description and maybe a link to ambient rim
Neko  [skapare] 2 okt @ 2:27
Alright, I’ll just turn off all ambient sounds when Ambient Rim’s around. I want to respect what it’s doing and not get in the way.

Yes, the bird sounds overlap with Ambient Rim.:SG0_Sorry: I tried creating detailed ambient sounds based on time and temperature, but I’m starting to think it might be better to leave that to Ambient Rim.

Thank you!

Alright! I’ll add a frequency setting for the owl and see how it goes. The daytime sound needs some rework and will take a while, so I’ll try it later. Thanks for pointing that out!

@Raymondmaster
Ah, glad you’re enjoying it! Thanks for the kind words!

@Neko

For whatever reason this mod was created, it remains a staple in my playthroughs. The ambience alone makes this the best I've known in terms of atmosphere.

Thank you.

Im not saying that i dont like them. Im just want to make them be not so often or become rare. It would be great to have an option that allows you to adjust the frequency of sounds
