Just note that the strategies of stalling and what to look for will probably always be relevant unless the mechanics of this game DRASTICALLY changes, such as the ability to ban specific dice rolls, or alter your dice pool in some way. Otherwise, resource management strategies and most efficient use of your dice and hoarding those dice will bet he best strategies just due to the nature of how this game plays.
However, I do disagree that Princess is useless. She helps building up the gold slots early on when the dice pool is small, and also helps with some complicated hero skill activation.
I also note that the Wanderer was not mentioned. It is a companion that can be worth considering if you have a lot of "On [Companion] Skill Activation" items, since you can activate it as much as you want with any dice.
