You need 2 things in order to follow this guide: knowledge on how to operate folder structure, which should be simple enough, and how to edit text using Notepad++.
You can find Notepad++ here[notepad-plus-plus.org]. Download, install, default setup is good enough, no need to fiddle with it.

First: find the game on your Library, right click it, Manage > Browse local files.
It will open the game root folder, now open the "www" folder, and inside it open the "js" folder, and finally open the "plugins" folder.
Done that? Now you need to find 2 files: "RemtairyCombat.js" and "RemtairyEdicts.js", once you find them, right click each and then click "Edit with Notepad++", you can open one file and edit it and then the other or open both and edit both, doesn't matter.

Lets edit "RemtairyCombat.js" first.

- on Notepad++, file "RemtairyCombat.js", find line number 1973, the lines are numbered on the left side of the screen;
- the line should read "let multipler = 0.8;" without quotations, change the value to something big, I use "let multipler = 8000;", but you can swap 8000 for another number, just avoid putting too many zeroes;

So, what does this do? The value is the base damage multiplier for counterattacks, it defaults to 0.8, meaning your counterattacks will hit for 80% of your regular damage, but with this edit it should hit for over 8million% of yoru basic damage, don't worry, though, many enemies have infinite defense and cannot ever be killed by a single hit, no matter how strong Karryn is.

Now we edit "RemtairyEdicts.js".

- now find line 1240, it should read "if(this.hasEdict(EDICT_HALBERD_DEFENSIVE_FOUR)) value +=" followed by a number, change the number to something big, again I use 500, but it really doesn't matter, just avoid huge numbers and you'll be fine;
- line 1241 should read "else if(this.hasEdict(EDICT_HALBERD_DEFENSIVE_ONE)) value +=" followed by a number, first change ONE to SPECIALIZATION, this is very important, now change the number to something big but smaller than the previous number, again I use 150, but whatever should be fine, again avoid huge numbers;

So, what does this do? These values govern the chance for Karryn to counterattack when she's hit, keep in mind that butt slapping counts as a hit, so she counters that, but only the chance, not the damage, by changing it to something really really big, it practically guarantees that Karryn will almost always counterattack, meaning she will be dealing damage on a regular basis, but don't worry, she cannot have 100% counterattack chance, I believe there is a hardcoded cap at 90% or so, plus counterattacks use your accuracy to hit, so you will miss a lot too. Keep in mind that you need Halber Defense Training for any of these to have any effect. But lets continue.

- line 1265 should read "let unarmedDefense = 2;", just change the number to something really big, you can put millions if you wish;

This is the last edit, what does it do? This number governs Karryn's unarmed defense (duh!), so it's useful for when you inevitably lose a battle and is taken to the solitary cell or wherever, so you at least have a small chance to get back to the office instead of falling into a losing loop until inevitable game over. It doesn't help too much, but better than game over. Just keep in mind that you cannot take unarmed defense training if you do this, you HAVE to take unarmed offensive training instead, otherwise Karryn's defense while unarmed will go back to small numbers.

No worries, we can do that easily, there are 2 ways, I'll describe both.

First method: just uninstall and reinstall the game, simple as.

Second method:

- find the game on your library;
- right click it and then click Properties;
- go Local Files tab;
- click Verify integrity of game files;
- wait for it to finish;
