Weapon & Side Tasks Challenges - Brief Overview
Throughout your playthrough, you will encounter various Weapon & Side Task Challenges; that may include but not limited to:

Weapons:
- Combat Ability
- Pistol
- Melee (Single & Two handed)
- Paralyzer
- Shotgun
- Assault Rifle
- Heavy Weapon
- Snipe Rifle
- Archery
- Explosives

Challenges:
- Kill X Zombies
- Kill X Enemy type amount (Soldiers, Ninjas, Cannibals, Bosses, Etc.)
- Head Shots

Weapon challenges come in 5 rank. Each rank becoming harder and requiring more kills.
As such, modifying and keeping your weapon up to date; will aid in the progression to get the most of out of your equipment.

Useful Tip
I highly recommend adding bonus damage to X zombie types to hasten the process. Sometimes having a dedicated weapon to weaken a target before switching out a different weapon/ability needed to for a challenge/task.

Having a melee weapon on you, is always handy; should you ever run out of ammo, or need to engage CQC (Close Quarter Combat)
(Perk needed to allow multiple weapons to be equipped)

List of all tasks & challenges requirements are not included; purely down to it's time consuming to gather all the data again per challenge/task.

If you would like to contribute to this, please leave a comment with the info, and I shall add it to this guide.
Infected Enemies (DLC)
Infected variants of enemies are exclusive to the DLC: Escape Meridian

They can only be encountered in Chapter 3 story mode or any game mode with Infected mode turned on. Some but not all enemies are infected, so farming them, may take a bit longer.

If playing outside of the main story, this can be done on game mode mission overview page; where you can adjust the difficulty rating, duration time (if applicable) as well as Infected.

(To be confirmed) Infected variants also count towards the standard zombie kill requirements.
Zombies & Infected Zombies (DLC)
Playing Infestation, BioHazard (Very Long) or playing the game in general will help chalk up those zombie kills - sadly there is no other quick way to mark the tally of kills; other than just playing the game in general.

If you're farming for the infected variants, you can always turn on Infected mode which adds the Infected Zombie variants in your game modes to games such as Infestation & Biohazard (The Irony).
Cyberdogs
Method 1 - Main Story:
Cyberdogs can be encountered in several missions; but usually in small packs; such as the tutorial mission.

Another mission such as Chapter 2, Mission 1 - * Connections can offer a few cyberdogs; making this a viable mission to farm them, outside of game modes.

*Word not added to avoid any potential accidental flagging of this guide.

Method 2 - Game Modes:
Cyberdogs can be encounter in Biohazard on Wave 2. The longer you've set the game mode, the more you will encounter. This is perhaps one of the easier ways to farm them in bulk.
Fake Minikin & Space Zombie
Method 1 - Main Story:
Chapter 1, Mission 2 - Saved in a Freezer
offers a relatively early on for both zombie types.

These zombies tend to be tanky and do not count towards boss kills.

Simply restart the mission, when you get your kills to rinse & repeat until you get the amount needed for your challenge/task objective.

Method 2 - Game Modes:
Can be farmed in most game modes, though they only appear as singles or a few in hoards among other zombie types.
Fake Minikin Chainsaw
Method 1 - Main Story:
This boss can easily be farmed by playing Chapter 1, Mission 8 - The Showers Don't Work.
It's located after the main atrium where a drone is located.

Method 2 - Biohzard game mode.
A mini boss that will show up on near the end of wave 1 of Biohazard.
Soldiers & Infected Soliders (DLC)
Method 1 - Main Story:
Several missions throughout the story can allow various amounts of kills for this enemy type.

One notable early game mission Chapter 1, Mission 3 - All aboard the Meridian Express!
offers plenty of kills plus an added bonus of using a turret. Great way to get the Dagga on them humies.

Method 2 - Game Mode:
Play any Lone Wolf mission, as this would be the only other method you can use.

Infected:
Method 1 - Main Story:
Chapter 3, Mission 5 - Catching Up
A relatively short mission that can offer a few infected soldiers (Not all are infected)

Method 2 - Game Mode:
Play any Lone Wolf mission with Infected mode on.
Ninjas & Infected Ninjas (DLC)
Method 1 - Main Story & Lone Wolf Missions:
Lone Wolf missions are the really only option to farm Ninjas base game. Other than the odd story mission where they can be encountered, there is no real way to farm them efficiently due to the low numbers they are encountered in; outside the DLC.

Method 2 (DLC):
Chapter 3, Mission 3 - Holes in Space and Time
can be used to farm Infected variants. There is an approx 12 before the mission moves on to inform there is no targets left (Presuming you have not complete the mission objectives)
Cannibals & Infected Cannibals (DLC)
Method 1 - Survival Mode
Playing Survival mode, Ecoresearch (located near bridge of ship on world map) is the best method for farming these annoying enemies.
Their infected counter parts can be additional farmed in Infected game mode.

Tips/Advice:
- Set your game mode to Long/Very Long or for however long you may need it for the kills.
They tend to swarm every several seconds; and they do have the tendency to cower and run away.

- Best way to deal with them is thwack them with a sword or hammer using the power attack to weaken them; or aim for head shots before the have a chance to pounce on you. Bare in mind, some melee weapons may one shot them, so be mindful.

- They can also be encounter in BioHazard, Wave 4. The longer you've set the game mode, the more you will encounter.
Drones
Drones can be farmed easily on Chapter 1, Mission 3 - Catch The Train.
It can be encounter very early on in the mission; as is relatively easy to take down as a mini boss - at easier levels & with the right weapon upgrades.

If you're struggling, try to weaken it down with another weapon type; then deal the final blow with your desired zombie (well drone) slaying weapon of destruction.
Bosses (Base Game)
Method 1 - Main Story
To guarantee a boss spawn, play any mission where a boss will be near/end of the dungeon. This method, would allow you to go at your own pace and guarantee a boss spawn.

- One of the quickest missions you can use is Chapter 1, Mission 4 - Crystals of Power.
Go through the mission as normal, and you will encounter a boss at the end. Avoid sprinting through this mission, as zombies can sometimes spawn behind you; thus delaying you and overall time efficiency of farming.

The mission can also encounter a bug where dialogue does not play audio; after defeating the soldiers, resulting the mission to bug out. Only fix to this, is to restart the mission.

- Another mission which can be used, is Chapter 1, Mission 6 - Return to Space Gardens.
The mission is shorter than Chapter 1, Mission 4 but comes at the cost of being tanky.

Method 2 - Survival Mode (High Risk, High Reward)
The quickest way to farm these kills is also the riskiest; as it requires a weapon that can hit hard, luck as well as within a strict time limit (Less than 1 minute).

Whilst any Survival mission can be used; the smallest maps are best, as this will allow a smaller area to search for the boss that spawns in.
I would personally recommend the map: Jetlift Cargo Area - located on the ship bridge (as this was my method prior to DLC)

The Method:
When you spawn in, head straight ahead and wait at the opposite end of the map - a storage room should be to your left (North West).

Wait and fend of waves of zombies in this area until the last minute, then head back to the starting location.
A boss should have spawned in within the hallway where you spawned originally.
If no bosses spawned in, head back to where you waited; but this time head North East of the map, as this is a secondary spawn location for the boss.

Bosses sometimes spawn in between 40-45 seconds remaining.

Kill the boss within the time limit; though be aware of surrounding zombies who can overwhelm you. Thin out their numbers as much as you can before the last minute, to improve your odds to get the boss kill - as it will be your primary target.

Method 3 - Biohazard
Just playing Survival difficulty in general, set the game to Very Long, which will allow at 3 bosses to spawn in, at the end of each 5 waves. There will be 15 waves in total.

Bosses, Summoners & Angles (DLC)
Before we go into the finer details of locations, note that Summoners & Angels count towards boss kills.

Method 1 - Main Story (Best Overall):

Using the mission Chapter 3, Mission 2 - Dead Shields, it's the overall most efficient way to get your boss kills in the quickest time; though the only downside is; the bosses are at the end of the mission.
There are 3 types of enemies, which each have their own weapon challenges & side tasks:
- 1x Boss Enemy
- 1x Summoner
- 1x Angel

Method 2 (Standard Boss Only):
If you are solely looking to kill standard bosses in a quick fashion, playing Chapter 3, Mission 1 - Investigations is one of few missions where you can encounter a early game boss.

They are located on top of a balcony, which can be killed from the floor below; as you exit the mission start location.

Method 3:
If however you're looking for Summoners & Angels, playing Chapter 3, Mission 4 - Charge the Ambush offer a Summoner & Angel early on.
Final Note
If you've gotten this far, I would like to personally thank you for using this guide.

As you can see from the hours of gameplay, this guide has taken some time to put together (and a lot of suffering from grinding enemy kills)

Help yourself by saving some time and buy the DLC expansion if you are in dire need to farm those bosses; as I can say from personal experience spending what felt like dozens of hours (Pre-DLC) was not well spent.

This is not a promotion for the DLC, just advise; otherwise if you're new or returning to this cult classic game, I hope this guide alone will help out in some way.
