Unlocking Architecture Tools Solo at Level 1 in 25-50 Minutes (Video Example)

These two videos show a method to quickly solo the architecture tools from the start of the game. Anyone interested in making workshop maps will need to unlock these tools.

The Dungeon of Satyrs
0:00 If you have completed The Dungeon of Satyrs, skip to the next video.
1:00 Try staying to the left hall to take minimal damage. Only leave to pick off the low flying bats.
2:34 When jumping, spam the jump key allowing any ladder reached to automatically be caught.
3:40 Go left. The magic wand that drops from the first chest will assist on the boss.
3:50 Light the left and middle lights. While attacking use a lot of jump attacks. These attacks will allow you to have movement when attacking and will usually dodge the hitbox of the satyrs' attack.
5:20 Only kill the blue slugs on the upper levels and then pull the lever.
6:05 After the boulder is done, collect all the cheese and the spear from the chest.
7:00 Only attack snakes with spear or bow.
7:45 Hit lever then quickly hit the top left wall. These graves are likely to be used a lot.
8:10 Kill all the bats first to reduce chance of falling in pit.
9:25 - 14:35 How to not do the boss fight. Skip to 15:00.
15:00 - 21:33 At the start of the fight use mace to hit enemies. Use jump hit to travel around while still attacking. Switch to spear at about 1/2 health and continue to use jump attacks while needed. The spawned units will take 3 hits with spear instead of 2. When close, switch from spear to mace to tap the boss to do more damage. When the boss is around 1/6 hp use all of the wand charges. If it doesn't kill, switch to mace and finish it off.
The Search for the Magic
0:45 Kill all green spikes with mace or bow. Don't worry about death for durability doesn't decrease until level 5.
2:18 Hit this wall and grab all items from this room and the next.
4:15 Stay over to the left to not get the blue snake's agro. Once it has moved to the left, jump as far as possible and then cast ice block left.
5:15 Use magic wand to kill these, not bow.
6:15 Place bombs to kill the frogs. Make sure they have some distance from each other.
7:25 Go left. Do not click any levers on the way.
8:55 Jump into the green architecture icon in the top left. The area does not need to be completed for the tools to save. Click Save and Quit to exit; DO NOT CLICK Force Exit.

Some tips for decor are to make sure you have auto decor off and make sure the decors aren’t set to locked position. Hold shift and you can place a decor anywhere instead of just on the incremented marks; though, it will be slightly harder to do symmetrical rooms with this method. There are some confusing decors that, due to no tooltips, make them hard to use. For example, to do a blinking light for anything you have to place the sign normally and then another right on top of it with a flashing light effect.

The main problem with editor is that there is no tutorial on it, something that I may eventually get around to making. There is an option in F1 that lets you change auto decor off and another option under the decor menu that allows them all to be moveable. A, M, and E keys will all conflict with each other if more than one of the displays are used at once. Quite a bit of the editor is still a bit buggy, such as the custom auto decors, many abilities (especially on non-boss units), and the lack of tooltips for some things that could use further explaining. The manual applying of decor in this game actually has no problems.

I'd like to add in as a sidenote, that the editor is hard to work with, some stuff doesn't work properly, and it impossible it sems to take away decos, and the auto deco function keeps turning on, also stuff from the e key menu and the a key menu overlaps/conflicts and makes stuff really confusing... The spawning of enemys/allies is self explanitory, its the creation of scenery that is very imperfect.

The tools are unlocked in order to prevent people with no knowledge of how the game works to go straight into the editor. Since a lot of people tend to dive straight into multiplayer, or only do part of single player then go multiplayer, he put the editor as a multiplayer unlock to at least force a person to have some understanding of the game. It is also unlocked in multiplayer for all maps created with the editor are with multiplayer intent. I do wish an unlock would also be added to anyone wh completes single player, but I am for his current structure of hiding the editor. Even now, with this format, about 90% of the workshop maps are below par of being put into the game.

No wonder there is almost no one online. An amazing game with such an incredible multiplayer potential, due to it's editor, completely blocked by an unexplainable and so badly, badly designed procedure... Why does the architecture needs to be unlocked? The more players have access to it, the more maps the community can have which means more players on MP!
