General rule for processing horsefood is... put it in the Press, thats the best output. Only if Press doesn't work, use Herbologium.
The Agrostology stuff (Rice, Rye, Spelt...) goes into the Grinder, but thats for cooking jobs.

Aloe Vera

The best Heal Over Time Base Ingredient is made from Aloe Vera. It can be found in every desert area.
10000 Aloe Vera in Herbologium yields 5600 Aloe Vera Gel

Argus Sponge

The best Healing Potion Multiplier (little better than Skadite because it has +Volume) is Argus Sponge. It can be found in the south area of Canteri in bays under water.

Brown Shorekelp

Yields diarrhea oil if squeezed. It's everywhere in the ocean under water, but it's not pickable on some places somehow.

Gamun

Easy to find, if you know what you are looking for. Can be found everywhere in the deserts around Meduli.

Green Jambura

Green Jambura can be found everywhere in the Jungle Area south of the map. You recognise them easy because they are much brighter than the surrounding horsefood.

Muse Fruit

Everywhere in the Jungle. Smal Palm Fruit Trees right next to em.

Palm Fruit

Looks like nothing special. Because of its tiny gathering hitbox you likely never knew they are pickable. Palm Fruit is everywhere in the Jungle Area south of the map. For some reason they seem to like to grow next to Bananatrees (Muse Fruit Tree).
Not the best ingredient but useful to get Palm Oil and push Botanical Oils Lore.

Phasel Bean

Grows mostly at the bottom of rocks everywhere in the desert around Meduli.

Pirum

Pirum can be found on Blackwood trees between Toxai and Morin Khur.
10000 Pirum in Press yields 4500 Pirum Juice

Salvia

It is the most sought after alchemy resource in the game and farmed a lot, so don't expect to find one ever. It is used for the strongest health potions.
Salvia can be found somewhere south of Toxai, south Spider Valley and Canteri. Tends to grow on highgrounds.

Sea Dew

Most useful Direct Health potion base is made from Sea Dew. It can be found at the coastline north and south of Meduli.
10000 Sea Dew in Herbologium yields 4000 Sea Dew Leaves

Calxfish

Can be fished at Meduli Docks. Depth of 1300+ required. It's important to fish on the bottom. So if you also catch and ocational Gutta or Twig you're doing it right. The 3 smalest hooks will work, like 0.2 ,1 and 5 but Hook Size 1 yields best result. Any Bait works, but Cristula seems exeptionaly good.
The recommended setup with Hook Size 1 and Cristula Bait is not based on a statistical evaluation. It's just gut feeling.

Ventriosus

Can be fished at Meduli Docks. Any depth works but ~1000-1600 cm semms to increase the Ventriosus yield. Almost all hooks will work, like 0.2, 1, 5 and 10 but Hook Size 1 yields best result. Any Bait works, but Herbeus and Cristula both seem exeptionaly good.
The recommended setup with Hook Size 1 and Cristula Bait is not based on a statistical evaluation. It's just gut feeling.
Cristula is the prefered Bait, because it's good for Calxfish too. So if you just aim for Calxfish, you will also get most Ventriosus too. It seems like some kind of Alchemist fishing setup.
Ventriosus also yield Ganoid Scales, the best Core Material for Rugged Garments, but useless for Alchemy.

Glimmercap

Can be found in Caves. Can also be found around the giant trees and in some rock gaps in the jungle. In the jungle they are pretty much invisible at daylight and can only be spoted at night when they glow. Daylight in caves doesn't matter obviously.

Shimmering Solution is made with Schimmering Essence Base + Purified Water Catalyst in Fabricula.


Cromatic Wax is made with Ichor Base + Shimmering Solution Catalyst in Fabricula.


Imbued Calamine is made with Calamine Base + Shimmering Solution Catalyst in Fabricula.


Aegicite is made with Imbued Calamine Base + Rock Oil Catalyst in Fabricula.


Nimbic Spirits is not an Alchemy Ingredient but it's used for Elementalism.
Shimmering Solution + Calx Powder Catalyst in Fabricula 100:8 yields 44 Nimbic Spirits
