I doubt this can be avoided in multiplayer since all indirect attacks are assumed to be done by the player who initially knocked the enemy down, and would increase the burn chance as a result.
In general, you should avoid doing this trick with any weapon that has a chance to inflict burn, poison, ice, or shock, as those can end the idle farming early. Increased crit chances are okay since the hawk's crit only deals 4 damage.
...has anyone already tested if the giraffe doubles the XP received when doing this? this almost sounds like it could possibly make full party idle farming sessions even faster, assuming it turns the setup's 4x XP to 6x.
I cant't find any pattern in why sometimes they land in the same spot and sometimes they're knocked back. I tested this with 2 controlled characters in the arena.
The problem is that if the thief is knocked back, even slightly they teleport back up onto the ledge. Am I supposed to pull them away from the ledge slightly with whoever has aggro, before trying to knock them down?
1. Grab a character (in solo) [Let's say Green Knight and Chicken pet]
2. Grab the desired pet
3. Exit to Menu
4. Grab another character [Let's say Skeleton and Chicken pet]
5. (Repeat step 2)
6. In multiplayer, select the characters that you used for steps 1 and 4 [as an example, they'd be Green Knight and Skeleton]
